I stayed here from 12/31/16 to 1/7/17 and I found it to be charming and cozy. There is a warm atmosphere in this small hotel and the rooms have some of the walls paneled in what looks like a natural pine wood while the other walls have insulating wallpaper. I never heard anything from the other rooms, thought our room...

We were two couples on a short skiing weekend. The hotel location is really good-access to the pedestrianised area is easy and it's a short walk to many of the bus stops for access to the slopes. The breakfasts are good - I would prefer proper coffee rather than a machine but the food options were very good. Staff were...

I love hotel breakfasts--especially European hotel breakfasts--and so we booked this hotel based on their breakfast-included room rates alone. We had a fantastic stay and I'd come back in a heartbeat. Major pros: 1. Location: we were right in the center of town, a three-to-five-minute walk to any sight or restaurant 2. Service: staff was exceedingly friendly and hospitable, and...

This hotel is well-situated, with views of the river or glacier from many rooms. The rooms are small, with little room to move. Bathrooms are also small, with nothing to keep the shower water from getting on the floor. It is easy to get bruised failing to avoid sharp corners in these small rooms. Mostly the staff is helpful. I...

We stayed here on the first and last night of our Mont Blanc challenge. The hotel was clean and tidy if not a little quaint. The rooms were ample and well apportioned even with all our climbing gear. Breakfasts were plentiful, nourishing and tasty - the packed meals we received were also very good. Friendly staff, good location. A good...

PROS: The hotel is well located, and our "deluxe" room had view of Mont Blanc. Breakfast was plentiful with large assortment, providing typical European style as well as scrambled eggs & bacon. CONS: Very small room - I could barely squeeze between the desk and end of the bed, and there was only about 12" between the mattress and side...

This hotel is in a great location, and is a very good value, considering the prices in Chamonix, but breakfast isn't the greatest. Right in the middle of town. The staff is very friendly, including the little dog who lives in the lobby. Recommended.

We stayed two nights and had a first floor standard room with two twin beds that faced the street and had no balcony, which was okay except for some late night noise from the café next door below and people walking around on the street (we opened the window at night). The room was small but adequate and there was...

I've stayed here for 3 nights after we finished the TMB. The staff were very nice and kind. The rooms are at the small side, also the bathroom. On the other hand, there is a balcony. The breakfast was good and tasty, a lot of options. The location of this hotel is very convenient. I was surprised they let us...

The people at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. They have a resident dog that sits at the front desk and greets people! The hotel is literally in the middle of Chamonix - you can walk to all restaurants and to the lift for Aiguille du Midi. The breakfast was really good - a great start if you are...
