We stayed here as part of an escorted bus tour. The view of mountains right from the hotel room patio/deck was incredible, as was the view from the restaurant/breakfast room. That was the whole draw for this hotel. The room seemed old, tired, frayed, and was a little bit dark due to the wood covered walls, but at least wasn't too...

I must share my experience at the Alpina, at about 6am on saturday 16th April I was physically assaulted by the night time receptionist at this hotel. Me and my friend called in to ask about the possibilty of a taxi number after returning from a club, trying to get back the Les Praz, the next village. The receptionist (I...

I guess you get what you pay for and if you want a reasonably priced place to stay for 1 night, then this is a place to consider. But it is far from swanky and it was adequate for our last minute 1 night in lovely Chamonix, but I would never stay there for longer.

Stayed 2 nights, very nicely centrally located, close to gondola to ski Brevent/Flegere liaison(5 minutes walk). Had a room on the mont Blanc side and the view was simply breathtaking, nice balcony to enjoy a cocktail apres ski. The spa area was clean, quiet, the hot tub was freezing, boo. You can rent ski/board gear downstairs at a reduced price....

Dont be fooled by the bad reviews, this hotel basically has it all. I was traveling with 5 friends and we stayed here a week; we had a blast. a two person room is kind of small, but everyone made it work and it wasn't a big deal after the first day. the location is key as it's on every...

Was booked into this hotel with a ski group. Incredibly inefficient staff. Was billed for a number of things that we did not charge- checked out the evening before our departure & found an extra 47 euros charged to our room. After a hassle they were removed from the bill. The next morning additional charges were assessed to us. The...

Stayed in the hotel between Feb 17th and Feb 28th and I must say it was more than disappointing. The hotel looks nice only from the outside. Once you step in you are NOT greeted by a very rude receptionist. Check in is at 15:00 hrs and we waited in the lobby from 12:00 hrs until 13:00 hrs when I...

The rooms were very roomy with large bedroom and big bathroom and separate toilet. It was nice to have a little balcony to look out over the alps. Breakfast was a good set up but a bit disorganised (lack of bowls, plates, hot food etc some mornings) but overall pretty good. We could hire our ski gear from downstairs in...

Right in the centre of Chamonix with great access to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Very helpful staff and a surprisingly nice room (nothing special but good for a 3 star hotel). The buffet breakfast was fantastic.
