We stayed here as a one night stop over on a drive from Calais to Abruzzo . It is in a good location and easy to find in Chamonix. It also has a good size car park. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good. Chamonix was between seasons (summer over and winter ski season had not...

Hotel L'arve is situated 1 block from "downtown" Chamonix. Easily walkable but the hotel also provides free bikes to ride around town. We did not use the sauna/fitness center but there is one available. Everyday in the afternoon they have free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and homemade cake by the fireplace. If you're on the mountain until in closes at...

Although this hotel is okay, comparing it to the other nine places we stayed during our trip, I found it average in comparison. The hallways and steps we walked to our room had stained carpet. There was an extra sofa/bed that crowded the room and obstructed the opening of the balcony door.

The hotel is right next to the pedestrian zone where there are many restaurants and shops, yet is easily accessible by car with it's own private car park (uncovered, but in September I didn't have to worry about snow!). Only about a 10 minute walk from the cable car which takes you up the Aiguilles du Midi The bed was...

The Hotel de L'Arve is located away from the major congestion in Chamonix, and, with the river rushing in the background, it is quite peaceful. There is a lovely small courtyard next to the river which is perfect for sipping wine and looking at the majestic alps just beyond. The rooms are spacious and decorated lodge-style. It is a bit...

This hotel was booked for us as part of the TMB self-guided package. We couldn't have been happier with this hotel. Upon checkin, the girl at the front desk was very helpful in giving us recommendations on where to eat. They have a tea time which was nice because it fell right on time with when we came back from...

We stayed here 3 nights while enjoying the sights and hiking trails in the Chamonix, Mt Blanc area. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We payed for the breakfast one morning, but opted for just coffee the other two. With an espresso machine next to the front desk I believe they would make you a cup when ever requested,...

We have been coming here every few years since 1998 and always find the hotel to be dependable. Rooms are very comfortable, and it is in a very convenient location. It is an easy walk to restaurants and train station. The staff is welcoming, very friendly and always helpful. We find it very comfortable with a homey feeling. I cannot...

The hotel was lovely & we had a 2 bed, 2 floor apartment but the view that surround the hotel are amazing. The apartment was modern, clean & spacious, wish we had stayed for a week. My husband and I stayed here as he was running in the UTMB. The location is great, the room was a bit small, but fine for us. I have to say that the bathroom was incredibly tiny, and you could not use the shower without banging some part of your limbs! (BTW; I am 5'4'' and slight) so that is...
