Very centrally located - a stone's throw from the station and the main street with restaurants, bars etc.. Room and bathroom spacious but tired. Shower pressure good but water came out of places it shouldn't have! Bed comfortable. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment.

One of the better hotels during our visit to France. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful especially Anna. Rooms comfortable and decor adds to ambience. On the downside was the shower missing its slidi doors and the shower curtain that keeps sticking to your bum! Breakfast was ample for the price. Close to all tourist attractions especially if you want... More

Title says it all really. I stayed here 13 years ago and stayed last week. Decor was exactly the same! Rather tired and slightly dreary pine cladding on the walls with dim lighting. Rooms and beds are nice and clean though. No lift in this building so be prepared to march upstairs.. reasonable prices though. Best thing about it, is... More

Charmed by the geraniums on the balconies, we opted for this centrally placed hotel, ideal for railway station and restaurants. They were helpful with g/f bread at breakfast which was more than adequate but not included in the rate and they let us leave luggage when we went up in the cable car. The views of Mont Blanc and Alps... More

The hotel situated perfectly for touring the city. Close to shopping, ski lifts and other sightseeing events. Plenty of restaurants in the area. There is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to your room (don't pack so much the next time). Overall, it was a perfect location for touring the city.

Love staying at this inexpensive and comfortable hotel in Chamonix. The rooms are very simple wood panelled but clean and warm, and the beds comfortable after a long day hiking. I'd recommend asking for a room with a view of the mountains - certainly adds to the experience! I have never tried the breakfast - too many lovely bakeries to... More

I found this to be a very reasonably priced, simple and well located hotel in Chamonix. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and basic. This is a very good value in Chamonix which can be very expensive. Wifi was occasionally spotty, but worked well enough.

This Hotel is located in the heart of Chamonix. The room I had was not very large (we had twin beds), but it was clean. Try to get a room at the back of the hotel, because the front of the hotel faces a square and some people party late in the many restaurants around the square. There is no... More

My 18 year old son and I stayed here one night before in embarking on a TMB hike. We were looking for a place simple and inexpensive hotle with a good location. We had planned on spending no time there, just a base location for exploring Chamonix. Hotel Le Chamonix fit the bill perfectly for us. It's a bare bones... More

We arrived early and were able to check into our room immediately. It was clean, with a nice view of the church square. They had free Wifi, which worked well. The front desk girls were so helpful. My wife's baggage was delayed by Air Canada and the front desk staff not only offered to accept our baggage when it came,... More
