There are so many positives about this lovely hotel that I don't know where to begin. Great rooms, great food and great staff. A three star hotel that at a 3 star price goes way beyond what 4 star chain hotels offer. Yes, the internet can be a little patchy and yes, the lift is very small, but these things... More

This hotel is a bit dated in the accomodation side but still clean and neat. We slept with the window open and it was a nice quiet night's sleep. Secure bike lock up was provided around the corner and this was very much appreciated. The highlight was definitely the food. We ate there for dinner and breakfast. Great selections, friendly... This is an old hotel but the creaky old girl still has its charms. The staff were great in helping us getting our bikes garaged safely in their lock up - much appreciated when on a cycle tour. The best aspect of this hotel is the restaurant. We enjoyed a very good set menu and the recommended half bottle of... More

We had a special arrangement, a coupon that "pays" the room under the condition to have dinner at the Hotel during ones stay. Not only were we given a choice of the room "comfort" or "comfort+ (with an extra price though), but we also could choose whatever we wanted from the different "menus". The food was excellent with surprising but... More

We stayed in AIx for one night and this hotel certainly served the purpose. Our corner room was large and immaculate with a modern bathroom filled with herbal amenities There's wifi throughout the hotel - however no English TV stations or minibar in the room. The elevator is tiny so we had to take our luggage up separately. The breakfast... More

This hotel is a bit older, with a tiny elevator, but the point is it HAS an elevator. I sort of wandered here from the train station. Originally I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor, at one price, but the room seemed tired and you could hear people charging up and down the stairs. So I asked for... More

We stayed here on a groupon deal along with the restaurant - see other review. Notwithstanding the upset at the restaurant, the hotel side works much better. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is nice and clean, the rooms also nice and clean. The wooden floors and old building give the place plenty of character. Maybe... More

Stayed for 2 nights, my wife and I. The room was clean, spacious, good value for money. The hotel is very well located, 2 mins t al the shops and most of the restaurants. The room could have done with A/C, because with the windows open it was very noisy, cars, etc… They have shared underground parking with Hotel Agora... More

We stayed here a few years ago which we enjoyed. Since the Hotel has had a furbishment , which has been tastefully done. New reception area, with a very helpful young lady. Our room was superb, we had a huge balcony which was a great sun trap, plus view looking towards the alps. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated.... More

Stayed overnight while travelling back from South coast. Reception very friendly and helpful. Good sized room (217) well appointed, rather small bath! Restaurant was excellent, as was the advise on local wine. will stay here anytime we are in the area. A joy!
