Sous les Figuiers is a typical Provence place. The more expensive rooms are very nice, large bathrooms, a patio and they are really quiet. The breakfast is perfect for me, a bit of a baguette, a croissant, excellent jam and a fruit juice. the people running it are very friendly and helpful. we tried the restaurant upstairs, which I think...

We stayed for a night at this lovely place in August with my wife and daughter and highly recommend it. What a nice surprise! Calm, well decorated, free parking, great restaurant and breakfast... Denise is the best!

This hotel has a dreamlike quality, a haven of peace close to the heart of a lovely little town that has a special place in our hearts. Forget French formality. We were welcomed (literally) with open arms and escorted to our large and comfortable room set in the middle of the fig trees. It was one of the most relaxing...

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Was fun to have pets around on the property, as we were missing ours at home. Room was adequate although a bit small, but having a nice and spacious porch made up for the small room. Beautiful gardens and setting, and we enjoyed the pool.

We stayed here as part of a tour. Lots of words to describe it - boutique, quaint, eccentric, delightful, comfortable. It's really a fun place. The proprieties are a couple of women. One is an artist whose studio is adjacent to reception and whose work decorates the rooms. The rooms are scattered throughout a forest of fig trees and are...

We had a premium room that was a seperate cottage in back with a little yard and privacy fence. The bungalow was recently constructed. It was walking distance to the Village and there was parking for our car behind a locked gate during the night. I particularly enjoyed the petit dejuner outside on the downstairs patio and especially the dinner...

We spent 3 wonderful nights here and loved the quiet location. You can walk into town or you can drive to many wonderful villages. Catherine was very helpful and recommended 2 different villages on market days which we found interesting even if you aren't a big shopper. Dinner upstairs was fabulous, perhaps the best meal of our 2 weeks in...

What a quaint place! This small and quiet location served as our base in exploring the Provence and Côte d'Azur areas! Each room is around the gardens and semi-hidden from other rooms. You step up on a private porch area to access the door of the room. The room and bathroom were layed out nicely. The toilet area had a...

Our time in Saint Remy de Provence was topped by our stay here. We were welcomed (after a 5 hour traffic jam) and shown to our room and knew immediately we had come across something special. Ours was room 12 which was small but we loved it. Next time we will definitely ask for a garden terrace (but book well...

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base to explore Provence. We selected Saint Remy for its central location and lovely charm. Hotel Sous les Figuiers was ideal- a 3 minute walk into town, easy parking right at the hotel, clean, safe, beautiful gardens, and a kind and helpful owner. We would highly recommend this hotel!
