We stayed here for six nights and found it to be very quiet and relaxing, our host Anne was charming and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace in the pretty garden.Anne was very attentive and helpful. An ideal location away from the hustle and bustle if you are prepared to walk or catch the bus.

This B+B has to be the most! Set on top of a hill in the Bompard district of the city, it was once a proest's house and has now been upgraded to an exceptionally high standard without losing anything of the original character. Anne and Francois are really super hosts - tres sympa. They speak English byt enjoy it if...

What I especially enjoyed about staying at La Bastides de Roucas was the walk from the old port to the B&B, so much to soak in! Like so many other reviews have already said Anne was wonderful at helping me plan my days in Marseilles and even offered some guidance on other locations in Provence to visit. Thank you!

Lovely place. Anne, the owner, is very helpful and will give you all infos regarding marseille and surroundings. It's like being at home. The breakfast is excellent and served in the garden by the pool. If we will go back to Marseille this will be the place again. We even had a closed parking for our car! Bien fait!

The "Bastide du Roucas" is located in a very quiet neighborhood of nice houses and villas. It enjoys a wonderful view over the vallée de l'oriol with its rolling hills and gardens. From the pool and from the rooms you can see the ocean on the one side and the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde on the other side....

Not difficult to get to. Bus 61 from Vieux Port (in front of Bourse du Commerce right opposite the Tourist Office). Stop at Bompard-Fedeli and short walk along rue Etienne Mein, you are there! Was in the adjacent house right next to main building with 2 rooms, a small kitchenette and a cosy living room. Traditional, clean, nicely decorated. Great...
