Lavender and other visits and the B&B mas Julian took me quickly away from Beaune. The nearby Pizza place was highly recommended by the host. It's actually more than a 10 minute walk and in total darkness not a good idea. The 72 degree pool, on a hot afternoon is a relief. Enjoy!

We spent two nights at Mas Julien; if we had only known how wonderful and special it was, we would have stayed much longer. Valere is a lovely and welcoming host; he warmly greeted us upon arrival and helped us with our luggage. The house itself is very well appointed and much thought has gone into making sure guests have...

the location is in the middle of open vineyards, yet just a short easy drive to orange, chateauneuf du pape, and avignon. the rooms were spacious and modern and quiet, and air-conditioned (which was needed when we were there in august). the grounds are lovely including a beautiful swimming pool to relax by in the afternoons. the host was gracious...

Valere is very passionate about his B&B and it shows. All those small touches really make a difference - a colourful breakfast spread, a gym on-site, a heavenly pool and generally beautiful grounds. The room had all amenities thought of like a hotel -- fridge, small kitchen, iron, safe, 'rainy day backup plans', even a luggage trolley. Our favourite part...

We stayed 5 nights in this wonderful B&B in the heart of Provence located between vineyards not far from Orange but in a very peaceful scenery. Valere, the host was very kind and helped us with lots of tips regarding restaurants, sights, markets. This gem is really worth a recommendation for relaxing holidays in Southern France.

Without doubt the host Valere is exceptional because he clearly loves hosting his clients and provides clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation at a very affordable price. An expansive breakfast is included in the tariff and I don't believe you could find better value anywhere in Provence. Highly recommended.

A little gem of a place in the middle of the countryside close to Orange. We stayed in the separate quarters and had the whole place to ourselves. Valere was the ultimate host. Breakfast was just right, the suite was large, clean and just perfect for two people. The best B & B we stayed at in France during our...

Wow! After winding our way through the beautiful vineyards surrounding Orange, in awe, we found our destination, Le Mas Julien! Our host, Valère greeted us (2 couples) with a huge, warm smile and a luggage cart. He insisted on transporting our bags to our rooms. Our friends had the room over the studio. We were to be in a room...

We had a wonderful stay in Mas Julien ! Valere is very friendly and helpful host. He gave us a lot of information about the region and he recommended a couple of very nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. The rich breakfast was delicious. Also the room was very clean and comfortable. In short a very beautiful and quiet place. We...

My Partner has been visiting this beautiful place for a number of years now and this summer was his tenth! Quite honestly, he did make my expectations rather high! Boy!! Mas Julien more than surpassed these! The area is just achingly beautiful for a start and nestled amongst the vineyards, is only what I can describe as a little pocket...
