We had found this hotel by accident on Google Street View after we had visited Villefranche Sur Mer on a cruise the year before. After reading the reviews on this site and others we decided to book well in advance in order to get a sea view room with balcony. After we had booked a few less favourable reviews appeared...

We stayed two nights at this hotel and were satisfied with location, amenities and very helpful hotel owher, Mme Juliet. She was very helpful in everything - room selection, restaurant reservations, sightseeing recommendations, etc. It was very quiet, relaxing and the view from our window was exellent. Free parking was available across the street. A few restaurants were available around....

We spent a week at the Hotel de la Darse in September 2010 and found this to be the highlight of our trip. This was our second trip to Villefrance sur Mer; it is a charming town on the rail line between Nice and Monaco. Hotel de la Darse is a large and professionally run hotel with fabulous balcony views...

We stayed at the Hotel Darse for 2 nights at the beginning of September whilst on holiday with my parents. Our first choice had been the Hotel Patricia, but due to unavailability, we chose the Hotel Darse, based upon reviews in Trip Advisor – I wish I had paid more attention to the terrible reviews! Having eventually arrived at the...

The camera have all the photos that we have taken during the entire French trip and is very important to us. We called the hotel for help. The hotel staff was very helpful and look for...

This is a fantastic hotel and certainly a hidden gem. I stayed on the 3rd floor for 3 nights at €87 per night for a good, clean, en suite double room with a spacious balcony and the nicest view I have ever had from a hotel. Wow!! While planning my stay I was almost put off by some of the...

My cousin & I spent 4 nights here in May & were pleased with our choice, booked on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews. We loved having a balcony room & being able to sit outside & enjoy the wonderful view; at night you could see the twinkling light of the Cap Ferrat lighthouse & one evening we were treated to...

It is basic, no lift or major luxuries but it's very clean and does have air con. Decent beds and shower's pretty good. About 15 minutes easy and rather beautiful walk from the old town but there are a couple of decent restaurant/bars nearby. One next door and the other a few minutes away called The Cockpit which does great...

The location out of town was fine. As one reviewer said, it is probably a twenty minute walk from the SNCF station but this does mean you avoid the crowds and the many people from the cruise ships. The 3rd floor room had a good view over the Port Darse but could have done with a coat of paint, particularly...
