Just a brilliant little hotel in a brilliant little town. I loved it. The rooms, views and overall ambiance of Welcome are truly exceptional. An easy walk to a sandy beach, good restaurants and the train station make it a perfect base for exploring Nice, Monaco and all the Cote d' Azure. Welcome? Wonderful!

We stayed here for a week in September and this was our second visit to this wonderful hotel and the second time around did not disappoint. As all the rooms face the ocean, every room has a terrific view. To start with breakfast on the terrace each morning is an energising start to the day and to come back after...

Well, before we started planning for a romantic 3 week vacation in France we understood through our conversations with other travelers and the research we conducted that life was going to slow down in this place. Like many times when we throw ourselves into new experiences or places it can take awhile before we open ourselves up and allow a...

We first "found" this hotel in the 1990s and were immediately captivated by the attitude of all the staff and management. We have visited a number of times since then and although the building and amenities have been updated the welcome remains warm and efficient. The location is stunning, located on the quayside at the foot of the "Old Town"...

We visited Hotel Welcome and had the most comfortable stay ever. The staff are courteous, hospitable and helpful and it was great being there. Our room was ocean-facing and had a lovely view of the harbour.

The location of this hotel on this fantastic coast line takes some beating overlooking the harbour and also to a nearby beach. The bar is at the front ground floor with seats outside. You can sit all day watching the world go by. You probably would not sit too long though as beer is 9 euro per pint! Often cruise...

We stayed three nights in the Welcome Hotel in Villefranche-sur-mer. The drive into this picturesque village is a bit frightening for a foreigner in a rental car, but it can be done. We had a small, but comfortable room (Superior) with a nice sea view, but the price at 459 Euros per night seemed excessive especially for late September (double...

But I did go many times in the evening for some snacks and hot chocolate. I wish I had booked this hotel before my travels. I will make sure to book next time it's in a perfect location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and lounge areas were very clean and on the whole the hotel...
