Great hotel at a great price - fabulous heated pool stayed one night would have liked a week! Courtesy bar, elegant rooms, close to St Paul - don't take the taxi, it's 20 euros for a kilometre or so as they have to come from Cagnes or somewhere- take the car!

I stayed here for three nights with my mum and it was the perfect place to stay to explore St Paul du Vence. Lovely gardens, especially the pool and good breakfasts with lots to choose from, cooked eggs, cheeses, hams, fruit salad, yoghurts and more. Great honesty bar serving Champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks. Make yourself and...

The highlight of our accommodations for this two week trip. This lovely hotel offers something like 16 rooms and a relaxing generosity. We didn't have the best room since we were in a 'triple' which didn't have a balcony our courtyard space as all the others do but nevertheless was airy and comfortable, the bathroom generous. There is a certain...

If you crave peace and quiet this is the place for you . It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful and pleasant . It is a little off the beaten track and you need a car to get there, but that's the essence of the place. We would definitely return as the location is great and the...

We stayed for two nights at this wonderful small hotel. Beautiful room, with a lovely terrace overlooking a small vineyard. Good bed and spacious bathroom. Lovely circular pool. We spent a lovely few hours relaxing there after some vigorous sightseeing. Good breakfast with lovely fresh orange juice. The gardens and hotel have some interesting and rather quirky art and antiques....

Having booked this hotel based on previous reviews, we were not disappointed. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The honesty bar was an excellent idea and very well stocked and we liked the fact that we could buy a simple, but tasty light lunch at the pool area. The only down side is that the return...

I love Les Messugues. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Although the hotel could use a bit of updating, it is a minor concern. They have actually updated many of the rooms since our last visit 10 years ago. The location is simply perfect - quiet and peaceful and beautiful, set within orchards and vineyards. The pool area is very...

We spent 3 nights here and it was wonderful. The owners are so relaxed and the whole place just feels like being 'at home' We had a large room number 5 on the first floor with a balcony, two chairs and a table, overlooking a vineyard. The bed was a superking size and the bathroom was spacious - twin basins...

The rooms are tastefully decorated with great air conditioning. The pool area and surrounding gardens are gorgeous and well kept, sitting out here was a joy. The staff were very friendly and...
