I was backpacking with my sister when we stayed here. We got a really cheap price and when we arrived we were given a private room with a bathroom, even though we paid for a 10 bed room. The wifi was good, everything was clean and we had a good stay! It's really close to the shopping street and only...

I needed to find a cheap place for one night in Nice and Baccarat came up as higly recommended. Still some of the reviewers seem to have been disappointed. We were not. The separate rooms were clean and quiet (there is absolute curfew after midnight) but everything can be heard from neighbouring rooms so one unruly couple may destroy your...

Great hostel excellent service. Polite and helpful staff and a good position. Priced very reasonably too. Don't be afraid of the recent attacks. This didn't affect our stay. And shouldn't affect yours. Don't let them win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. We were booked for an 8 bed dorm, but we were upgraded to a private room for free. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and secure. The location is good for those visiting central Nice, and is very close to the train station. It is approximately 15-20 minutes walk to beach, though...

We had stayed 3 nights in a 14-bed, mixed dorm in Old Nice, so Hotel Baccarat was a welcome change. We'd originally booked a mixed dorm room, but upon arrival, Dan at reception upgraded us to a private room (at no additional cost) which we gladly accepted. This seems to be pretty common from all the reviews, and I wonder...

The hotel was very close to a busy street with lots of shopping and food that took you straight to the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. They were easy to talk to and very hospitable. We got upgraded from a 6 person room to a private room on the...

Sam at reception was amazing! My plane arrived one hour late and I got to the hotel at midnight! He could tell I was exhausted and looked after me very well and gave excellent directions and suggestions for eveything I needed. Will be coming back for sure!

Arrived quite late and was warmly welcomed by Gabriel (who hails from Romania). I booked for a bed in a four bed room but he was very nice to move me to a solo room.(Thanks Gabriel). The room was small but who would complain when I was supposed to sleep and share a a room with 3 other strangers. The...

A short stay with my partner in a double room, very good quality rooms for the price, and helpful staff. Well placed for the town and the station to explore the wider area. The wine and pasta night was a great time to meet other travellers.
