In advance of my 50th birthday (December 30th), my husband asked me "where would you like to go?". Of course, I've always loved the time I've spent in France, so I replied "Southern France!". I didn't don't make reservation in advance, as my research indicated that finding a hotel wouldn't be difficult. Turned out my husband had to stay home...

We stayed in Hôtel du Petit Palais based on TripAdvisor users' ratings. The hotel is very nice and our room got a beautiful ocean view. One perhaps serious drawback is that it's located in a very quiet neighborhood. You wouldn't be able to just walk out and enjoy a nice dinner or do some shoppings.

This hotel was a 20 minute walk, partly up hill, from the train station, but worth it. Our garden room was on the ground floor, but with a nice semi-private patio. The neighborhood is very quiet and out of the way, perfect for relaxing, and walking all over Nice to sight-see. We would stay again, just to have the best...

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the midst of a lovely old neighborhood full of magnificent residences in what appeared to be a very exclusive part of Nice. Set a bit up the hillside looking out over the city toward the sea, the hotel offers every amenity you could wish for, except a full service restaurant. Breakfast was excellent,...

Perfect start to finish. We had a sea view room which was amazing. Service could not be faulted and buffet breakfast excellent. Best sort of boutique hotel experience. Price wrt value for money could not be faulted. We will return!

Small, family-run hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fairly small, ordinary room, but nice balcony with view over Nice to the sea. OK buffet breakfast. Close to Chagall and Matisee museums. Great whistling and talking parrot in the garden.

This hotel has a unique location above the center of Nice. Upper room with sea views have great vistas and even the lower rooms have access to the garden and pool. Room 101 was somewhat small but had access to a semi -private sitting area next to the outside breakfast area. Breakfast was good but not spectacular but had a...

Travelled to Nice and stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in late September. The location, close to the Chagall Museum and away from the Promenade des Anglaise, was perfect for us as it allowed a break from the noise and bustle of the main tourist area while still being close enough that a car was not needed. The staff...

This is a quirky little hotel, with lovely service, an eclectic decor, and beautiful views over the city. Loved the outdoor dining area, especially at breakfast. Our room was very basic and small, which was the main drawback. But overall the charm of the place won us over.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in Nice. The staff was so incredibly nice and friendly, they helped suggest to us where to go out to eat, what to visit, and anything else we asked about. The place itself was very nice, clean, great views, and in a great location. My wife and I went out...
