Booked a traditional room, very small and bathroom tiny. Hotel staff and reception very friendly but every night until the early hours we were kept awake by the constant noise of revellry outside in the street.

For a city break this was excellent. Well equiped quite spacious rooms, good location, friendly helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The 'Why Nice' restaurant close by was recommended by the hotel who when making a booking for you will then result in a 5% reduction to your bill. The food at this small restaurant was excellent and you can see... More

We arrived at the Hotel Masséna to be told the room was not ready, but that we had been upgraded to the executive suite, which was a great start. From then on things just got better - we had a problem with the balcony door and it was fixed within minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful, and organised all... More

We have just stayed in this hotel with some friends and we all agreed it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The location couldn't be better - close to the beach, old town, lots of good restaurants. However - one restaurant to be avoided at all costs is The Mirador. Dreadful food and the worst waiter... After a shaky start we did eventually manage to get a room that was fitting the description of what we'd paid for! We'd booked a privilege room on-line which was sold as a large family room. The room they allocated us initially was more like a B&B - so shabby with the drawers falling off and just so tired looking.... More

The location is great. Next to the bus station and downtown. The room was terrible. We could barely fit our suitcases in the room. The A/C did not work and the sink was clogged. The view was awful - in the back of the building with well, no view. We could not connect to the Internet - we actually had... More

Staff was wonderful and location perfect. Short walk to beach, centre of town, and the flower market. However every night (from Monday to Saturday) there were people partying right outside our window. There was yelling, laughing, blasting music and revving of scooters. It would begin at about 2:30 a.m. and go on until daylight. Maybe in summer when the AC... More

This hotel is just one block from Place Massena, which could be said to be the heart of the city, and less than a five minute walk to the beach. It is about a ten minute walk from the train station if you aren't slowed down by luggage. The main room was on the small side but fine, and the... More
