Chose the hotel for the quiet location and enclosed parking, as well as the affordable price. We were not expecting to find such a lovely place and were very pleasantly surprised. We plan to go back for a few days of vacation soon.

Great location with lots of car parking. Interesting history of the place. Interestingly, reception, dinning room and bar all very modern. Bedrooms reflect the previous owners ( nuns ) and need a complete refurbishment. Courtyard rooms suffer from noisy air conditioning units as well as poor view - well, there is non to speak of. However, its very convenient for...

The hotel has fabulous sea views and is only a short walk from the port. The bedrooms are dated and could do with some refurbishment but this is reflected in the price. That said, although basic, the rooms are perfectly adequate, spacious and clean. If you get a room with a sea view and aren't expecting the Ritz at B&B...

We were two women staying here and we had some problems getting our bags up to the reception (be aware there is a ramp). Ample and easy parking is a bonus, as is the location if you arrive by car. If you are waking at night - the area on the waterfront to the Port area of Nice is a...

The hotel was as I expected it to be. Lovely location. Lovely views from bedroom and terrace and warm enough to sit out to have dinner in the evenings. From the reviews I had read I wasn't expecting the bedrooms to be plush, but ours was more than adequate, we were very fortunate in having room 322. This was a...

Shabby room level of 1 star hotel. Laying on the bed is not different from sleeping on the ground. Complains unlistened. Free wifi .. But there is not wifi in the room. Worst experience ever (traveling 50 times a year!). Very disappointed finding out that there is a nice and recently refurbished wing. It doesn't worth a coin. Much better...

We had a perfect couple of days in this hotel. The slightly shabby outside of the hotel one can see when using the side entrance, the old wooden shutters and the lack of air conditioning were a PLUS for us, adding to the charm and sense of history. I read a previous commentary and I cannot remember any problem with...

St Paul represents a hotel in the grip of change as at August 2015. The meals are excellent overall, and I have never had a better Pork(Black Pig) Fillet with Sweet Potato in my life. The breakfast is quite simple and pleasant and the ambience with the alfresco area is excellent. I will return to see if things have changed...

Let's start with the less good part. The rooms are basic, the bathrooms dated and the shower cubicles small. Shabby might be a good word to describe this, but nonetheless everything was clean. I have stayed here several times and the view over the harbour entrance is unbeatable from the sea view rooms. Some reports suggest poor television choice (not...

This hotel is a conversion from an old Seminary. Rooms are very large with very high ceilings and louvered shuttered windows which go some way to off-set the fact that the rooms are not air-conditioned. With the small fan supplied we did sleep comfortably in the large bed even though temperatures were in the mid-thirties. Breakfast was very good but...
