Can't figure out if Menton is French or Italian, but this hotel feels French. Positives: 1. Big big rooms which is a bonus, if you upgrade. 2. Good wifi 3. Comfy beds 4. Amazing views 5. Clean rooms 6. Lovely front of house staff who upgraded us! Negatives 1. Bed pillows, and they smelled 2. The toilet and shower are... More

We stayed here with a hiking group, so it was a package deal that gave us no choice of hotel. This place is large and industrial; no charm whatsoever. The breakfasts are terrible: awful coffee, "scrambled eggs" that are actually slimy raw-egg soup, and the bacon is served raw. (Numerous other reviewers have said the same, but Management clearly doesn't... More

The hotel is located near the old city which is important in Menton. We stayed in a room with balcony and seaview. The room was big as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was included. No parking! Although i can recommend this hotel with an overall good impression.

The public spaces are impressive and the rooms are high ceilinged and comfortable, but someone did a terrible renovation with cheap doors and 70ish furniture that seems at odds with the lobby and entry way. Breakfast was ample and partaken of with people who could have been characters from an E.M. Forster novel set in France rather than Italy who... More

We stayed here for 9 days in September and had a newly renovated sea view room with balcony....the room was large as was the bathroom with a great and spacious shower...plenty of towels and a very comfortable bed.....air conditioner was weak but the room temperature wasn't too bad....and as an added bonus we had a fridge to keep our drinks... I reserved a room with a view of the sea. It was very spacious. The view was wonderful; we were on the 6th floor. The front staff was very friendly. One person, Anne- Marie stood out and was very helpful. The price included breakfast which consisted of pastries, bread, cheese, cheesy eggs, fruit, yogurt, potatoes and bacon. I have attached... Staff should pay more attention to the guest: no one looks up from the reception, they don't apologise for a queue, had to look for staff at the bar etc. Guests and housekeeping were friendly though. Room was small and simple but luckily hardly any noise from the street below (4th fl city view). AC was fine. Address is good... More

This hotel is the finest one in all of Menton and at a surprisingly nominal rate. The service is top notch and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is very clean and serves a phenomenal breakfast. Both the sea view and city view rooms are excellent. The hotel is located in the center of the downtown area and located right... More

Location is very good and room was excellent. However there was no personal service at all, no help with the garage, no porter for heavy luggage, no bottled water in the room, no kettle for making tea, and the bathroom was bare with no shampoo and miserable soap. Breakfast was poor, the cheese - in France of all places -... More

Stayed with family (with 2 teenagers). We had two larger rooms. One on the front (2nd floor) and one at the back (4th floor). Front have great views of the sea. 4th floor on the back looks over the houses in the street. Nice view with french balconies. Rooms seem refurbished, are actually great, with nice roomy bathrooms. Front room... More
