The owners were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the hotel is conveniently located between Juan les pin and Antibes main town (about 15 minute walk), allowing you to walk to both areas. The bus to the airport is also a short walk, making our last day very easy.

After 2 days of travel from Hawaii my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful accommodations at Astor Hotel. Our room was ready and waiting with a note at the front door for us. The room had everything we needed for our stay - comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage and a gorgeous balcony to enjoy...

I stayed for 3 nights in October in room number 30 which was probably the largest hotel room I have enjoyed in France. Clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom, a very useful kitchen area and a nice balcony. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the railway station and bus stop making visiting other local areas very quick...

A spacious peaceful studio with nice balcony and well equipped kitchen. Close to the beach, station and town centre of Juan les Pins. Lovely scent of lavender, Zen like ambience. Lots of gorgeous local walks and swimming in sheltered safe coves.

My husband and I loved the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The proprietors of the hotel - Isabelle and Jean Christophe Vermote - are a really warm-natured, friendly couple who are genuinely interested in the comfort and welfare their guests. The room we had was really clean and spacious, tastefully decorated, with plenty of wardrobe space and a room...

If you are content to be guided by the number of stars a hotel has - forget this one. It has no room service, no telephones in rooms, no swimming pool, no bar, the wifi is erratic at best... But if you are the sort of person who responds to simple small hotels run with good humour and quiet passion...

I cannot realistically find any fault with Hotel Astor and its accommodation: its owners were charming too. We both really liked the option offered of the kitchenette which we cooked in a few times, David being an excellent chef!! (He thinks). Good too to have the balcony/terrace to eat al fresco. Air conditioning was ESSENTIAL as temperatures were up to...
