We returned to hotel Juanna after 4 years. We love this hotel, it’s central to all the bars, restaurants and beaches. The rooms are clean, beds are large, bathrooms have everything you need, towels are lovely and fluffy! Breakfast is lovely sat in the garden , plenty of choice and endless coffee! We went to Belle Rieve most days for sunbathing and lunch. The food there is excellent. Then watching the sun go down on the terrace before dinner… We had a wonderful stay after being away too long. We will be back again soon!

From check-in to check-out, this was an overpriced nightmare. Perhaps my expectations were too high after spending four heavenly nights at the Hotel Lou Pinet in Saint Tropez, but I think this place would still have been a nightmare even if I hadn’t just been so spoiled. The official French five star rating is clearly in need of review; it deserve two AT MOST. We pulled up to what I can only describe as a run down hostel from the 1920s. Nobody greeted us or came to take care of our car, so we had to leave it in the driveway and find help. After checking-in, we walked up two flights to a hallway that had two big green trash bags strewn on the floor, and no overhead or wall lighting. Our room — which was in excess of €500 per night — hadn’t been touched since at least 1988. The floor creaked; at least 50% of the electrical outlets didn’t work; and the bed linens (a sad sight to see) felt like printer paper. The closet (a chipped wood cabinet) contained mismatched hangars and the furniture looked like it had been purchased at a church thrift shop. The bathroom was small and the brown marble countertops were stained. The toilet barely worked; it flushed human waste but not toilet paper, which I suppose is better than the other way around. (Thankfully, our room had none of the bugs that lived in the room overlooking the pool that our friends had). I wish I could say the service was the hotel’s saving grace, but it matched the overall tenor of the hotel. The concierge was, perhaps, the lone exception. However, though he was well-intentioned, none of his recommendations was decent. The pool, like the rooms, hasn’t been touched (or cleaned, it appeared) since at least the 1980s, and good luck finding a towel. We didn’t dare eat lunch or dinner at the hotel, but breakfast was a horror story. At check out, I discovered that the hotel had overcharged me, though that was not immediately apparent because they tried to mask it in a non-itemized bill. Thankfully, after 48 hours at Juana, I knew to scrutinize more carefully. Do yourself a favor, don’t come here. I won’t make this mistake again!

Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough Lovely location spotlessly clean and charming staff Breakfast well worth paying extra for and their pastry chef is amazing. Worth noting that pool is closed in February and a limited menu available only in the restaurant but believe by March everything is open and we were given a great price in February for a five star hotel. Will definitely return !

The Juana is the little sister of the Belles Rives Hotel. I stay at the Juana (or at the Belle Rives) whenever I visit my daughter. Very friendly staff. Great service. Excellent restaurant and clean rooms. "qualité / prix = top"
