We had some difficulties finding the hotel. When we booked, we didn't realise that it is in the center of the old village of Hyères and not in the center of the city. We were informed by the hotel that the city council had had all signs (hotels, restaurants etc) removed from the city - it didn't make the search...

Very nice! Cosy! Family! Old-fashined but renovated. Nice neat newly-renovated rooms. Provance style. A bit far from the coast, but being on the hill, still nice side views on the bay. A big good change from big busy sometimes aweful and unpolite Morocan's style Marseille. Real French South and cosy

First of, the hotel is situated on a REALLY steep hill! Driving and walking up there is absolutely gruesome. We stayed there during august, so it was really really hot. Unfortunately the rooms don't have ANY air condition, not even a freakin' fan. Nothing. at.all. It was super hot in that very small room, we weren't able to sleep. The...

The façade of the hotel looks really nice but that is pretty much it! After tackling hours of traffic we were delayed by over 3 hours getting there, which meant that the hotel would be closed. Trying to get the codes to enter the hotel and rooms was a real ordeal! Then trying to navigate through very narrow roads trying...

Very old hotel with very small bedrooms & even smaller shower. Walls between the rooms very thin & you can hear everything next door. Clean & convenient with parking available after you manoeuvre the tight streets. The open areas of the hotel are very pretty.

We were so pleased to find this lovely hotel to stay at. Simple, clean rooms with lovely decor it was perfect for our needs. Location was ideal for walking to the old town, and accessible enough to pop back to the room during the day. Though you would need to be able enough to walk up a steep hill for...

I actually looked for this hotel. I didnt just ended up there, I've read reviews ahead of driving all the way up on that hill. I loved the place and location. People complaint about owners being rude and unfriendly. You have to understand, this is Provence, locals are laid back, they live at a different pace, small village, less stress...

While the people who worked there were courteous I did not like that fact that they would not let you stay (even though it had all been pre-paid) without taking credit card details and promptly taking $150 out. I am still $150 down....

The Hotel is great located next to the medieval part of the city center with a great view but the street is really steep so older or disabeled will get into trouble. The owners are quite bizarre: they give you the feeling of disturbing them by your presence. The reception was hardly ever occupied so if you have questions or...

We did not like the attitude of the owner, parking facilities and cramped bed- and bathroom. We made our booking for 3 nights directly via the hotel's website, and paid the first night upfront at the time of booking. At the time of check-in at the hotel, we didn't like what we saw and wanted to shorten our stay to...
