A massive campsite set a beautiful part of France - booked through lifestyle and everything was as expected apart from the sheer number of people on the site - the swimming pools near the site entrance were rammed and we found the pool at the...More
A disappointing place to be honest. The accommodation was shabby and we had to give the place a good clean as soon as we arrived. The pool complex was extensive but quite dated with hard rough concrete which resulted in plenty of scrapped toes and...More

Our youngest was 12 and there was loads for him to do, our 18yr old daughter made friends at the late evening discos at the upper complex. The karaoke night was good craic with a mix of nationalities taking part. The early evening at the lower complex, La Palmeraie, is beautiful as the sun sets over the distant mountains and we thought the food was good and the staff at La Palmeraie excellent. Happy holiday!

Yes definitely hire cars. Book them at the airport and collect. The nearest town of frejus is a few miles away and la baume is basically on a busy road leading to the motorway right outside the complex. The shop in the complex has only very basic stuff at double the normal price so even shopping for food in the local Lidl or carrefour is a bit of a drive.
