I changed hotels after 10 years. Didn't know what to expect. This is a little gem and the people who run it are terrific. Highly recommended. It's very warm and cozy, funky in a good way. The outside area is lovely too. Nice art collection. And Dorothy, the owner, is incredibly helpful

I stayed in the Le Vendome Hotel with my husband Chris in October 2015. The Hotel has big bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything in the hotel regards pieces of arts, which is interesting. Lovely paintings, pictures and statues. I loved the green area, lovely garden. There was a dog and a black cat around, parrots too :) The breakfast wasn't included,...

I really enjoyed my stay in Villa Claudia for a long weekend and was sorry to leave my beautiful room at the end - it felt like being at "home" ! This is a place for those who look for old style romantic charm combined with modern art, and for people who do not mind animals but rather like them...

A lovely little gem of a hotel hidden away with plenty of history and culture! Beautifully decorated with lots of African art! Owners are extremely friendly and very helpful! Rooms are quaint with all amenities and the hotel is well situated not far from beachfront. Would come back again for sure...thank you for a memorable experience and stay!

I really loved this place. It has old world feel and charm. I was there for the Film Festival and it was a short walk to all the restaurants and the Palais. I would definitely go back. The proprietors were helpful and friendly. It was raining when I left and they gave me an umbrella for the walk to the...

I discovered the Hotel Le Vendome many years ago and really like going there for many years. Why? Because it has charms, because of the free parking for your car (inside the premises, which are closed at night) and because of the incredibly friendly atmosphere. WE were always treated as friends, not as guests. But this year this all changed...

A real disappointment! We have been staying in South of France for many years and this was the worst hotel I have stayed in. At least it was only for 1 night or we would have walked out. We were moved out of our original room as soon as we arrived, and put into another building with bars on the...

“If you have to stay there, don't take the Junior Suite, it is not worth the extra money. Don't take breakfast there - simply get out of the compound and turn right and right again, then you will find an incredibly great bakery with great breakfast for about half the price of the hotel.”
