Who could ask for more. Away from the noise and the bustle of the town center, this hotel is a pleasure to stay in. There is free wifi, air conditioning, hot shower en suite, pleasant interiors and nice view of Cannes bay and the old town from the window, good buffet breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice if you want...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We recommend the Hotel Chalet de l'Isere as a charming and personable alternative to the large corporate hotels. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the ambience of a hotel once frequented by some notable writers and artists. Oh, and their labrador, Jimmy, is a very lovely and polite greeter of guests, patiently waiting to be petted. We stayed but the...

I had booked only a couple of days in advance so choice over the holidays was small. I received a very warm welcome and was shown to the room. It was very small but with a comfortable bed and a view to the sea over the small courtyard garden. The interior is a bit dated and the floor and corners...

Due to my daughter being rushed to hospital I made a quickly booked trip to Cannes. Elisabetta and her family couldn't be more accommodating and empathetic to my plight even feeding me home cooked focaccia on arrival very late after visiting the hospital. It was gorgeous! This is a wonderful place, I love the fact that it feels like a...

Very friendly hotel. Good location and excellent value. Clean and difficult to find better for the money. Owner tries very hard to make your stay pleasant and the garden breakfasts is particularly nice

We had a great view; our room was only one floor up, but the hotel is at the top of an easy climb hill. We walked everywhere and had great advice from our hosts who are a lovely young couple. Xavier an excellent chef and Elisabetta is open and honest. We will definitely only stay at Hotel Chalet de l'Isere...

This was our second stay. Elisabetta and Xavier run a small, quiet hotel on a city street up the hill from the Vieux Port and the beach. Built in 1842, the building was originally a house, and it was home to the writer Guy de Maupassant in 1891-92. He entertained his friends Claude Monet and Emile Zola here. We loved...

We had to find a place to stay for a week because we had our house under works. And this place ended up to be just brilliant ! 5 min from the center of Cannes, 15mn walk to the beach. We knew the food was good because we had had dinner there once and knew the food was homemade. French...

Cool place to crash while in Cannes. We only booked for a superior room, but the owner, Elizabeth, was kind enough to give us an upgrade to a room facing the sea and hill. Awesome view! It used to be Guy de Maupassant's library, and for nine days, we called it home. I'm not surprised if it gave Monsieur de...

Our first choice in Cannes was full, but the owner suggested this place. A very lucky break for us. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Was able to park free, on the road both nights. Quiet. Clean rooms, fairly new but immaculate bathroom. Breakfast more then adequate. One-way local streets make it difficult to get to. Garden, rooms and breakfast areas...
