Literary in its loveliness. I recommend it to those who want something unique. The pace here is conducive to contemplation. A perfect spot for reading, walking, romance. There is great food to be had at the hotel and nearby, the staff are lovely, and the place just oozes with a genuine sense of elegant rustic style. Oh sure, it's a...

a lovely, charming high-end hotel in a unspoiled medieval town with great views. Get a room looking out over the valley and towards the sea. Not able to drive up to the hotel in the small hill town. Must park below and call and they will pick you up. Park at the cemetery outside of town. If you are a...

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and have to say we could not fault anything. We were warmly greeted by staff and shown to our suite, Wery, which we can highly recommend. It is a two-storey suite full of character and refreshing after all the bland modern hotel rooms. If you opt for this room, though, mind your...

On booking a 2 night stay in 2 Junior suites we also decided to take advantage of the hotel's airport shuttle. I was quoted £50 for 4 adults with3 large cases. I wasn't asked for any other information. On arrival at Nice airport we were met by the driver who seeing there was 4 of us then said he had...

My husband insisted on us walking to the hotel and I would not recommend it! The hotel is located up an extremely steep hill and offer to pick you up and I'd suggest taking them up on the offer. The room we stayed in was lovely. The best thing about the hotel was dinner in the restaurant, the food was...

We had booked a suite with a hot tub and when we arrived were emphatically told that we had not booked that particular room. The attitude of the reception staff was unwelcoming and accusatory, as if we had been trying to obtain something which we had not reserved. One member of staff even suggested we check into another hotel! We...

I hate writing bad reviews, but I honestly don't think anybody there cares enough to read them. We booked the Picasso Suite for 4 nights. On arrival we had two towels 6 coat hangers to share and no wifi. No information in the room, so we took taxis instead of the free shuttle and missed the Friday night jazz. Breakfast...

Dear Sir, We take full account of all the remarks and requests The room you occupied is probably the most beautiful and inspires excellence We are working to improve our services and thank you for this constructive criticism Closing the breakfast and always a difficult time between failure too wasting merchandise and keep a well-stocked buffet The concierge is also...

I don't often write reviews when my wife and I travel, but this hotel definitely deserves a write up. The hotel organised a taxi to pick us up at Nice airport. Of course, there was a charge but hotels don't usually organize taxis. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Karin(not sure of speling) who showed us to our suite called...

As previously mentioned a magical romantic hotel, access on foot is not for the feint hearted but the number 44 bus runs from the town center every 20 mins, the hotel is well run, excellent service and well kept, we had one or two minor problems, the wifi didn't work for the entire 4 day stay, when we mentioned it...
