I used this Bed & Breakfast as my base to see the coast over 3 days. It is excellently located away from the mayhem of Nice but still offering all the benefits. Cagnes is actually a suburb with a slower pace (and price). It is ideal if you are driving but may not be suitable otherwise. It is a beautifully...

We have stayed here more than once and are never disappointed. It's a great place and well located right by the little boat /fishing port only slightly comprised by the main road behind. Daniela is a wonderful host. Most of the rooms have fantastic views and the B&B has a charm all of its own. Decent continental style breakfast served...

We reserved the Suite Mare which is the best room in La Locandiera with a lovely balcony directly overlooking the beautiful little port in Cagnes-Sur-Mer. The owner, Daniela, was very charming but we had problems in that there was no hot water available for the entire 3 nights of our stay. A further issue was that there were two dogs...

My friends and I used to meet in Nice for our annual weekends away, however, the crowds in Nice were starting to become tiresome, and our preferred hotel began to get fussy about us booking so many rooms (yes, really). As a consequence, one of our local friends happened upon the lovely auberge, La Locandiera, while visiting the area with...

Convenient to the airport, minutes from Nice, great breakfast, all true. Right on the harbor, the only place! Warm and inviting, nowhere better. Daniela, her older dog and new cute puppy welcomed me as first visitor of the high season earlier this year. This is not just a B&B, it is a home, and Daniela makes you feel welcome from...

We spent our last night in France here before catching a plane back to Canada. We had originally planned to stay in a boring airport hotel, but found this place on TripAdvisor. What a thrilling surprise to find a gorgeous, luxurious, home on a lovely gardened property, and right on the beach! We stayed in a large room, with a...

Needing somewhere for a one night stopover before a morning flight from Nice we chose this b and b. Wow! Daniela is a charming hostess, serving us coffee in exquisite Limoge china teacups on our late afternoon arrival. This style and attention to detail continues through the whole house. Daniella made an early breakfast for us before our departure and...

We spent a wonderful weekend in this Charming Villa. The rooms are beautifully appointed with all the details only a woman would think of. Daneila the owner is gracious and kind and we loved the dog Irma! Breakfast is much better than most hotels - fresh squeezed OJ, fresh croissants, yogurt, fruit and great coffee. If you are lucky you...

“La Palma is cozy and comfortable, myself I preferred the layout and spaciousness of Pietra. Both have views to the sea and promenade.”

“We were in Eucalyptus room on the ground floor. No view of ocean, but private terrace area, southern exposure with big windows, and very luxurious bathroom. The second floor rooms probably have amazing views of ocean.”

“The room downstairs is large and has the best bathroom and opens to the garden but a little noisy in the morning if you want to sleep. The best room is the middle one upstairs with a large balcony and a fabulous view... the other 2 on the windows are nice and even the one without a window view is fine - as the whole Villa is great.. the one without the view is the cheapest and the only one with 2 separate beds. There are 2 appartments in back, which I never saw and do not include breakfast as they have a kitchen...but I am sure they are lovely as well.”
