Rick Steves recommended it, so do I! Great location, a short walk from the train station. My room was clean and quiet. Patrice was a great host, I felt like a king when he served breakfast in the courtyard. I enjoyed staying in a non-chain hotel with character, which is exactly what I wanted, was traveling solo for one night... More

We came in on the train (city train station) and it is walkable to the hotel. Charming hotel that also has the cutest little dog. The hotel was excellent for a 2-star hotel: clean, safe, quiet, and great service. The dining room is beautifully decorated and I would recommend the breakfast. Two of the breads served for breakfast were homemade... More

Location excellent can easily walk from train station & easy walking all around Avignon to see all the sights Breakfast is good, typical continental however the owners wife adds a homemade touch with fresh rolls. No elevator so first floor rooms are great. Take mosquito repellent for the area.

Very nice room. Excellent home made breakfast on Provencal style patio. Patrice is a very helpful "mine host" with a list of recommended restaurants nearby, which worked very well, and generally full of advice and flexible. Perfect medium price hotel in the old town near to Palais des Papes and the famous "Pont".

A lovely quirky hotel. all rooms are differently decorated with lots of unusual art. Patrice and his wife, the owners, were very helpful. The only downside is that the hotel has no lift and we were on the third floor, (60 stairs). The breakfasts were lovely, and whilst the breakfast room is beautiful we took the opportunity to have breakfast... More

We stayed two nights and were very pleased. The owner was extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins and smoothies. The courtyard where breakfast was served was lovely. The room was simple but had everything we needed including a modern bathroom and wifi. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Palace of the Popes but... More

We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. The Hotel is located in a side street within a five minute walk of the Avignon old station. The TGV station is just a five minute shuttle train ride away from the old station. The host Patrice was as ever very helpful and provided a varied breakfast taken in the... More

Situated in an artistic quarter of Avignon this hotel has a left of centre character that would appeal to all those who want a great hotel with all the basic amenities but don't need the luxuries. It is well located just inside the city walls and a few minutes from the popes palace. There is a secure multi story car... More

This is a beautiful hotel with welcoming hosts and is In walking distance of Avignon train station. The hotel owners are welcoming and friendly. Lovely bright and colourful decor including a gorgeous terrace area for breakfast. Delicious (and homemade) filling French breakfast which we loved. The shower in our room was really good and the air conditioning was a welcome... More

We did not stay here. We had paid reservations but upon our arrival we were told that there was water damage in our room so that owner/manager had already found us a room at another hotel. He walked us the two blocks to the Bristol Hotel, introduced us to the front desk and paid for our breakfast. We appreciate his... More
