We stayed with Sabine for 5 nights in early October. Sabine was a charming and attentive hostess. It was not a busy time so we were the only guests during our stay but based on reviews I think she makes the effort to ensure every guest is well looked after. She arranged to have a taxi waiting for us when...

We just got back from 3 weeks in France, and someone asked me what was the best experience we had. I thought about their question for a moment and then answered: meeting and getting to know Sabine Ferrand. We spent a week in Paris. I rode a bicycle in a race to the top of Mont Ventoux. But it's the...

Avignon and the surrounding area of Provence did not disappoint; however, one of the best things we did was to plan our stay at L’Ombre du Palais. It was located within easy walking distance of the Pope’s Palace and we enjoyed the breakfast terrace with the best view in the City of Avignon. Our hostess, Madame Ferrand, seemed to understand...

Sabine will make your stay magnificent! Her home features colorfully decorated rooms dedicated to her favorite artists. She'll invite you to join her in the kitchen to learn how to create that delicious cocktail goodie or breakfast bread. She knows and loves her town...and the tours and restaurants she recommended were spot on. She made our stay magical....can't wait to...

Prepare to meet Avignon's most charming, intelligent, fun and playful host: Sabine Ferrand. Sabine is also a wonderful chef and -- if you want -- will prepare dinners with your input. When my wife and I were there, Sabine prepared a meal -- with impromptu in-kitchen assistance from two young guests from South Carolina. A couple from Germany joined us...

L'Ombre du Palais is (as it's name suggests) "in the shadow of the palace" directly across the square from the Palais Du Papes. This little gem reflects the quirky, charming style of the hostess, the irrepressible Sabine. Each of the three rooms is named after a famous artist decorated with reproductions of their work. We stayed in the Malevich room...

Awesome location , moments from the papal palace, gracious and outgoing host, large comfortable room and delightful breakfast. What more could you want? Sabine knows everything and everyone; she made sure we were treated properly at her recommended restaurants ( her recommendations were wonderful ) and personally escorted us to the market. Best B and B host ever!

We arrived at Avignon Eurostar station and were greeted by Nathalie our taxi driver arranged by Sabine, our hostess. Sabine is a lady of great charm and personality and as we were to learn, in our 4 day stay, a perfect hostess and as added bonus spoke excellent English. A glass of wine and nibbles was also prepared for our...

This is a true Bed & Breakfast. The host is SO personable, LOVES hosting, and truly gives you a french experience. Wine every afternoon on her outdoor terrace with her, brings together to guests, cooks with you, etc. The rooms were beautiful, we had much trouble with the toilet but other than that the rooms were fabulous. Located right in...

After reading many positive reviews we booked a room with Sabine Ferrand's B&B. An excellent choice. After many emails back and forth Sabine made sure we had a taxi to meet us at the TGV train station. Upon arrival she gave us a warm greeting and a welcome glass of chilled wine on the lovely terrace. The house is an...
