This is probably one of the best hotels in the world. I was a bit dubious when we had to get to the hotel down a rather unimpressive side street which the taxi driver had difficulty finding only to be met by a rather imposing black door that was well and truly shut. When we rang the intercom, we were...

Stayed one night here in room #1 (corner, on ground floor). Loved the courtyard, and our room was quite large with an amazing bathroom. Breakfast was very good, and more unique than what we experienced at other similar hotels. Our only complaints are quite minor: we had problems approaching the hotel by car, and the mini-bar could have been better...

We could not have been more happy with our stay in Arles and our experience at this hotel with ONE exception. The bed in our Jr. Suite was extremely hard. I already have a back problem and with 3 nights at this hotel booked months in advance, this was a disaster. I became very flared up with back pain right...

Hotel has a beautiful setting but our room was uncomfortably hot, had an extremely hard bed. We were forced to stay for our third night of our reservation as we were told we could not cancel after two nights of sweating. Fortunately they gave a different room for the third night that had good air conditioning or we would have...

This hotel is so charming, an oasis in a quite hot city filled with sometimes strange people.Breakfast ist quite expensive for 20 €, but there are 2 supermarkets around the corner and lots of cafes so you can use your terrace for a picknick with best french food and wine. Most helpful staff, very friendly, restaurant good. A very nice...

I found this hotel be significantly at odds with the glowing reviews on TripAdviser, so much so that it is hard to believe that all of them are real; but perhaps we had one of their lower quality rooms at the wrong time of year. The service was polite and minimal. Directions for arrival by car were not able to...

My husband and I stayed at L'Hotel Particulier for 3 nights and could have extended our stay for much longer, but we had committed to moving on to the next phase of our holiday. It's a quiet haven of superb taste and service almost in the centre of town. The Junior Suite was exquisite with large comfortable beds and great...

This is a truly beautiful small hotel. The courtyard, pool, and lounges hideen behind the unassuming front doors are beautiful and romantic. It is like stepping into a little magical world. We had a junior suite which had a nice seating area separate from the bedroom, spacious bedroom, and a nice big bathroom. The room was all white with a...

The Hotel Particulier is one of those very few hotel experiences I will remember and endeavor to return to. The place was flawless on all aspects - a perfectly chosen and very tastefully restored French mansion with outstanding and very personal service in a perfect setting in Provence. It delivers against the dream of France and Provence that I imagine...

My husband and I stayed in room no. 13, a standard room in the building near the restaurant (229 euros/night). Unfortnately we did not find the "little plus" you expect at that price: - Bathroom was miniscule ( a partition in the bedroom) and was taken up by a large basin with no room for make-up bag etc. - Shower...
