Hotel de France is right on a charming square with a fountain just off the Rotonde with everything an easy walk from there. Enjoy breakfast in the second floor old theater room or have it delivered to your room at no extra charge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The off-site underground parking was a bit daunting at first...

This hotel is very well located close to most things, and an easy walk to anywhere in the old town. Also the staff are very courteous and helpful. That said, the rooms are very small and the walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING from talking, showering, urinating, and... yes, even that---loud and clear!!! The breakfast room is a...

Perfect location in a lively part of centre of town, a bit noisy due to local nightlife but only until midnight. We had two rooms both really beautiful and spacious rooms, free wifi, great buffet breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel in the middle of Aix, but it's very average in my view. With a small amount of work, this could be such an amazing place! I encourage the hotel to make improvements and set a higher standard. Pros: - Amazing location in the very heart of charming old Aix en Provence - Great service. All those who...

Spent 2 nights in this central hotel decent rooms well equipped with nice bathrooms. Overlooked one of main streets in old town, a bit noisy due to student freshers week but expect it would be reasonable quiet at t other times given location.

Although you will be very central with the hotel, it is on a really noisy square, right above an Irish bar which plays loud music til late in the night (and then again for breakfast). Our room was tiny - I couldn't walk round the bed without ducking under the wall mounted TV. Find somewhere else if you can, especially...

We had only one night in Aix en Provence, we found this hotel for a very good rate. The hotel is right in the centre, very chic, nice room, very clean with Nuxe soap ( very good ;) The room was quite small and the window turn to the inside but for one night it was great. Lots of restaurant...

This hotel is located right on the main pedestrian street in the historic district. Step right out and find restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and more right at your fingertips. The rooms are well appointed, modern, exceptionally clean, and spacious enough. We had free wifi and a great room rate. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Spent 4 days in Aid en Province and stayed at the Hotel de France. Smack in the middle of the town in a pedestrian street, surrounded by bars and restaurants and shops. If you are driving then park before you go to the hotel. You do not want to get stuck in narrow lanes with a million tourists who will...

The rooms seemed to be recently redone even though ironically they didn't flatten the sloped floor but I guess in an old building like that it would be pretty tricky. Needless to say that was a bit weird. Aside from that the rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nice enough and the bathroom products were great! We had...
