This place is situated in the centre of the city. Friendly staff, good rooms as you would expect at the price. But the pool is fantastic for loafing absalutly the right temperature. You only need one or at the most two nights to do this city justice.... so have a quick look and spend the rest of the time in the...

Thank goodness we were only staying one night. We can't claim that we weren't warned in advance, because the reviews here tell it all. As you drive by the hotel to the public parking (where commoners park) it's entrance is hidden and you're not sure where to go. It's almost as if the hotel is taking second rank to the...

This hotel was ok for us as it was close to the centre of Aix-en-Provence at walking distance and near a car park to park our car. We found the car park ok as it was just up the road and not far from the hotel. We found that quite convenient and it was good the hotel had a 30min...

This is a bit more of a conference hotel than we would usually stay at, but it has a wonderful outdoor pool and that made the difference. Surrounded in one corner but the ruin of an old tower, it is a perfect pool to relax in or sun bathe next to. Our room here was fine, larger than what we'd...

I stayed at this hotel very recently per the reviews I read on this site and its proximity to a professional conference I was attending. When I got into my room on the first night, I was pleased with the view, the relatively spacious layout (for a European hotel), and the apparent amenities. What did not please me at all...

We have stayed in Aix a lot and know various hotels and the town itself. This was our first time at Aquabella but would certainly go there again. The location and the pool/spa are excellent. Reception staff were lovely too. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet although needed a bit of a facelift. We stayed at the trendy...

Title says it all really except (as with a lot of hotels in Aix) it is over priced. The rooms are smallish, but modern and up to date. The reception is good, very friendly and welcoming, but the parking is a pain to get into and you will scrape your car sooner or later. The spa and gym is v...

My wife and I from Australia were travelling in France in January and stayed at the Aquabella for 4 nights. Arriving after a long drive we were apalled at the entry to the public car park which services the hotel. We could barely squeeze our hire car in between a concrete pillar and a stone wall, while turning sharply, uphill...

My husband and I stayed at the Aquabella over the 2009/ 2010 new year period. The hotel is located close to the centre of town, it would be at most a 10min walk from the main street. Parking is located nearby in a public car park, but as we found out if you have a nice car they will offer...

The pool area really makes this hotel, set in the old roman walls and whilst we were there is was 30oC, so that is where we spent most of our time. Rooms were comfortable and the food we had in the restaurant by the pool was good. We didn't book any spa treatments in advance and there were very few...
