I suggest the hotel saint christophe in the center of Aix en Provence. Confortable, clean, vey knid personnel. only 2 stars but with every confort: tv. air conditioning, very large bathroom. we stayed 5 nights and we also ate at their very good restaurant.

The stuff was very friently, and speaks English. The room was cosy with view on the road. The hotel restaurant was excelent with gourmet cuisine. The breakfast was expensive for the quantity of the products. The hotel location was the best.

we stayed for four nights which i felt was enough time to explore aix which is a lovely place. my fellow travellers have expressed the positive aspects of this hotel mostly all of which i would agree with. However the first room we were given was a mezzanine room which was small depressing and in dire need of refurbishment,we got...

Great location, all of 30 seconds from La Rotonde and the top of the Cours Mirabeau. Hotel is an honest and good value 2 star which tries harder than it has to. Breakfast buffet is excellent, there is a restaurant in the hotel and the welcome is friendly. The room itself had a slightly trendy decor that could best be...

Excellent location at an excellent price. The room was on the small side -its France!-, but very nice. There was also free WIFI and A/C. It was also very quiet, despite being right above the restaurant. I would strongly recommend the restaurant at the hotel: I have rarely enjoyed a meal as much as my dinner there.

I stayed in hotel with my wife and found it very convinient for exploring of Aix en Provence. Our room was small but quite comfortable. They have a nice, not too pricy restaurant. The location is supert, very near the center of Aix. Would reccommend for a shorts saty in Aix

There seem to be two totally different hotels here, one of which is fully updated and upgraded and the other of which is not. Ask for one of the updated rooms on the second floor, which are sizeable and gorgeous, with terrific beds. We did look at one of the non-updated rooms, and it was not nearly as nice.

This hotel is in a great location, literally around the corner from the tourist information office and a stone's throw from the famous rotund. We had a newly renovated room and whilst it was a bit small considering it was described as a 'suite', decoration was fresh and contemporary. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. There was...

This was our second trip to St.Christophe. In the two years since our first visit, the hotel deteriorated. It badly needs upgrading, redecoration! Our room was suffocating. It happened to be hot during our April stay, but the air conditioning is not activated until May. Misleading advertising! The brochure says"air conditioned" and it does not say air conditioned after May....

Our desire was to stay in the old city so our choices were limited. We expected less and got a LOT more. It took looking at several rooms until we settled on one that we liked. The room was immaculate - most days the service was great (we hit one surly desk person one time - and the location was...

The Saint-Christophe hotel is ideally situated, opposite the Rotonde Fountain, at the entrance to the historic centre pedestrian precinct, less than 50 metres from the Tourist Office, and very near the Cours Mirabeau, museums, typical markets and the Grand Theatre de Provence. The hotel is also 5 minutes on foot from the regional train station and the bus that takes you directly to the TGV station, and 30 minutes' drive from Marseille and the Marseille-Provence airport in Marignane.
