A 15th century convent with chapel beautifully renovated in the very heart of Aix. The charm of old stones and stain glass combined with the comfort of modernity. I love that contrast. Great helpful service.

This boutique hotel is just off the West end of the Cours Mirabeau, close to the main shopping and dining areas of Aix. We were received by a very friendly receptionist who spoke excellent English. The lobby is part of an old church or convent with a high ceiling and vaults and arches showing here and there - very charming!... More

As stated by another reviewer this was once a convent and is very atmospheric with stone walls and gothic arched ceilings in the lobby. The rooms upstairs are like any other hotel however. The location is great as it is near to Cours Mirabeau and lots of great shops and stores. We even walked to Cezanne's Studio and on the... More

We spent a night in this hotel located near the Cour Mirabeau (the heart of Aix). It was OK but our room on the second floor was fairly basic ( no curtain in the shower ) . The room was relatively quiet during the night ( there are lots of young people in the streets at night ). breakfast was... More

Ambiance abounds at this hotel. A converted convent with stone walls in the lobby and spiral staircase. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location and very close to restaurants and shopping. Great find!

Hotel is within the Ville Centre, in and antique, nice building, and up to the reception everything looked good. Nice stone stairs to the first floor, carpentered stairs to the second floor already looking a bit worn down. Small room, awful mattress! And it can get noisy at night time. If you are going by car, parking is about 4... More

I've been coming to Provence every year for the past 15 years. This hotel and their valuable staff Ridha and Michel have always made me feel welcomed. It is situated in the old section of Aix-en-Provence and is so convenient if you don't have a car. The tourist office is less than 5 minutes walk, you have your choice of restaurants.... More

Front desk staff Michel and Rida were very friendly and accommodating during our 5 day visit. Leisurely buffet breakfasts, use of lobby for before dinner drinks, comfortable rooms. Parking is awkward and expensive ( 20 euros/ day) but hotel rates are reasonable.

Situated in a historical building, the hotel might not sport the newest furniture or facilities but has plenty of charm. Location is great and perfect to walk around the city centre. Staff is polite and welcoming. I was there for a conference and in a solo trip but I guess it should be great for couples.

I just arrived a few minutes ago, only to realize that my so called 'comfort room' may be 'fully functional', but NOTHING like the picture presenting it on the hotels webpage. It is small and with a window turning into the back-alley of the hotel (as it is for all other 'comfort rooms' I was told, except for the one... More
