As a family of 5 we often struggle to find hotels with family rooms at a reasonable price. This place nailed it. Great central location just of the main square, basic but clean room and secure parking for a large fully loaded car.

We have four kids and went with another family of three children so we were child heavy !! This hotel is run by a husband/wife team. The husband is actually pretty charming and I get the impression that he does a lot of apologizing for his wife. Our children ( twins aged 2 ) got shouted at and told off...

Great location in the heart of the city. You need to book a car park place when you book the room or you may have to park in the public car park nearby. DO NOT stay here if you have young children, the staff were extremely rude, couldn't wait to leave and continue our journey.

Super position a matter of a few metres from the centre, the hotel de ville, restaurants, bars and shops and within easy walking distance of places of interest. Clean, neat double room of more than adequate size and facilities. Breakfast more than adequate, fresh continental style. Don't be put off by the manager/owner - he has a dry sense of...

Convenient for business, special appointments eg hospital etc. Quiet and near restaurants, shops, cinema and site seeing tours with a Tourist Information Office close by. This hotel is convenient for all and would have stayed longer but our trip was for an appointment at the Poitiers Hospital - hence a one night stay.

Room basic but perfectly comfortable for family of 4 single night stop on the drive south. Fantastic location on edge of town square where we could stretch legs and plenty of bars / cafes. Would recommend

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. Especially if you have family with you they will treat you like vermin. Our room was very dirty so we asked to clean and the staff person started shouting on the children. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE ECPECIALLY FAMILIES.

This quiet old style French hotel is situated in a quiet side street near to the town hall. The owner was most welcoming and gave useful advice. However, two failings. Firstly, my room was on the third floor and the single means of access or escape was up / down a narrow wooden (?) staircase. There are notices prohibiting smoking...

First I must to say that I spend around 120-140 nights a year i hotels around world and this is the most appalling and nasty hole I've ever seen!!! Stayed here for a week as I moved to Poitier for work and thought about the location. On arrival I was given uncleaned room (brown human produced snake in toilet), room...
