The hotel is located in the center of la rochelle in a market street and so close to the main shops. Just a few blocks away from the beautiful old port. The rooms are nice, comfortable and the staff make you feel home. Very nice breakfast and I would recommend the hotel any time for a family or just for...

Set in a narrow market street this Hotel will place you in the centre of La Rochelle street life. Busy markets both evening and morning. Very close to the chic shops under the arcades, the old port and a myriad of cafes and restaurants. It is a traditional French hotel. The rooms are a little tired but there is a...

This place doesn't deserve 1 star nevermind the 2 its has. Arrived a little early for check in, told our room wouldn't be ready till 1.30, arrived back at that time the room still wasn't ready. Booked a twin room we got a double, the room itself was appalling, walls were filthy, as was the floor. Only one plug outlet,...

This is a classic older style French 2* hotel with tired decor and small beds. However it is well situated for all visits to the city (mind you, its tricky to find without a good sat nav !). Would recommend parking in the underground car park - 8 Euro for the night. Good wifi.

Close to the main bus station and 10 minutes walk to central train station. 15 minutes walk to the waterfront and shopping. Local Market is road for 3 days a week. Sadly La Rochelle closes down on Sundays.

We booked this hotel for a few nights break, the hotel is comfortable although our room was a little dated but perfectly acceptable and clean given what we paid. The location is perfect for exploring La Rochelle, the staff and breakfast are excellent.

We stayed last June in this hotel, excellent location near the parking in the square and very close to the port, just five minutes walk from attractions San restaurants in the port, breakfast is continental with different French pastries cookies not hot from an oven but the croissant were lovely, friendly and helpful staff. I would book again if came...

Reasonable hotel with slightly shabby furnishings. A feature s the winding staircase which is anything but straight and level. Breakfast was in kitchen as they had run out of room in the lobby restaurant. I would stay here again at a push but it's not really great value for money. La rochelle is a fantastic French town with a marina...

My husband and I booked in for 5 nights. As we are OAPs we forgot to request a ground floor room so stairs were a bit of a trial with luggage. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Our room was plain but met our needs. There was a balcony overlooking a little courtyard and we even had a pair...
