Just completed a two day business stay at the Novotel suites in Rouen, France. Here is my review. Hotel/accommodation in general Large room for a European hotel and well appointed, including a refrigerator, flat screen TV, large work area and safe. The hotel has a business centre and small fitness room with a treadmill, bicycle and elliptical cross-trainer. The hotel... More

A good stop over hotel or for a short trip to Rouen. A 10 minute walk from the city centre.. Nice modern rooms although care needed if walking around in the dark as lots of edges; corners etc to trip over. Nice beds; good bathrooms; good aircon. Tea/coffee facility in room plus a microwave oven. The main corridor on floor... More

Ideally located around 15 minutes from city center. Welcoming nice receptionist Aurore welcomed us and had cards ready for our room. Around 30m square with a double bed and two little beds for the kids. Parking is 10 euros a night. Free External Parkings around otherwise. Breakfast was good but they compiled everything in a small place so in the... More

This hotel is officially rated 4 stars, but for us it provided a 2-stars ambience. Why? * unfriendly and unprofessional staff from check-in to check-out * the room is like a plastic-box where you are stored in with cheap and basic furnishing and a toilet like in an airplane * worst of all: chains at the windows that prevent guests... The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet with a view of the Seine. It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the old town, so not a bad position. We chose it because we needed parking. Be warned, the parking, which is underneath the hotel, is tight and somewhat confusing as it is shared with other businesses and one... More

We used this hotel as a base for a few days to explore Rouen and the surrounding area. The hotel is near to the river and you can walk up and down the riverside, where there are restaurants. Behind the hotel it the bus stop for the excellent bus service that takes you into town. You buy the tickets at... More

This place serves it's purpose but only just. The rooms are a good size but they are tired and overdue for refurbishment. The walk to the old town takes around 10 minutes. Rooms with a river view are good and we found our room quiet when the window is shut. You need to stand up to see anything though! The... More

We had just finished a month long tour of France. We were headed home via Calais and stopped off here. Family of 4, a suite, smoke room and the kids partitioned off. Lovely bath...I'd missed baths, it was bliss. Very clean with private parking underneath. Nice bar area. Lots of eateries nearby Inc a brasserie opposite. Breakfast good and plentiful.... More

Neat and clean hotel. Ironing facility and ice machine available on the floor. Not too far from the city center (15-20 min walk). Will need to pay for breakfast. Have had a very good sleep in this hotel.
