The owners at Hotel Monet were nice and friendly when we arrived late in the evening, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and compact, but with all that was needed - TV / phone. Bathroom was a bit dated, but absolutely fine. Beds comfortable and bedding clean. Breakfast was very nice...

We loved Honfleur - it is so cute that it looks like a movie set. The Hotel Monet is just a short walk to village. Christoph and Sylvie could not have been kinder. It is vine covered and adorable. This is described in at least one guide book at a 'motel' and that is, in fact, is the layout. But do not let that put you off. The location is very quiet, away from the buzz of Honfleur's centre, and you can park your car there...it's a five to seven minute walk to the centre. Parking in central Honfleur...

This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the water front. We first learned of it through Rick Steeves, and it turned out to be wonderful. Christoph and Sylvie were charming.
