On the face of it this hotel should be lovely given it is well located and has a restaurant with good reputation. Sadly it did not live up to its promise. It was chaotic, disappointing and our stay was surreal. First, we checked in but could not find the room. Eventually I found a restaurant waitress who was clearing tables...

We were attracted by the sign outside the restaurant of 6 oysters, mussels and frties for 16euro. We had the house wine and dessert. Excellent meal and very good service. Oysters and mussels were fresh. Did not stay in the hotel.

We reserved a room in Les Cascades a month before leaving for a driving trip through Normandy and Brittany. We had a very difficult time finding the hotel, despite the directions that were supposed to guide us. I chalked that up to my limitations as a navigator. However, when we arrived at about 7:30 pm on a Tuesday evening and...

I've stayed here on several occasions over the years and been very happy to return again and again. Great value hotel in a quaint old building very close to the harbour and picturesque centre of Honfleur. Very clean hotel with friendly staff and a good value for money restaurant with fixed price menus in several price brackets. Menu hasn't changed...

Although this is also an hotel, my wife and I used the restaurant. Just off the usual harbour-side joints, but with an atmosphere all of its own a great-value establishment. Food was good, and good value, moules fresh and worth trying. A nice change from the usual harbourside noise and bustle.

We booked a family room for 4 for Saturday 18th June by phone, and confirmed the reservation by email. When we arrived there was no room for us because they apparently have a policy of giving away rooms with confirmed reservations if you don't show up before 3pm, which no-one had told us. Despite being stuck with no accommodation the...

I arrived around 1 pm in Honfleur by bus and the Hotel Cascades was a short walk from the bus station but close by the pictuaresque heart of the town. I knew that the hotel had a restaurant. What I didn’t expect was that the restaurant was huge and the hotel check-in desk was in the middle of it. The...
