I enjoyed a really good stay at the Mercure Honfleur. It's a large modern chain hotel which is easy to find, offers guests extremely clean and modern rooms, has secure parking, is only a 5 minute walk to the famous harbour and has a good value for money breakfast and a small bar. If you want a historic or character...

This is our second visit to this hotel, the last being in Nov 07. Again we were able to check in incredibly early - 11am - even on a Saturday. Reception staff still excellent - efficient and polite. We were given rooms on the fourth floor that have very recently been refurbished. I was amazed that they are refurbishing already...

We spent 4 nights here, The six of us in three rooms on the first floor, over looking part of the harbour. The silence afforded by the double glazing in our room was great., and was very noticeable when we sat at the open window, enjoying the veiw of the harbour and the Pont-de- Normandy Bridge. my Wife and I had breakfast...

The best part of the Mercure is its central location and parking; the staff also seemed polite and efficient The hotel itself is an average, 1970's orange/brown affair. It didnt have aircon which would have been nice. Our biggest issue was getting bitten on the arms and legs by something in the bed (3 or 4 times each)- not a...

Very comfortable, quiet, affordable hotel. The location was very convenient to the old basin area and the staff were very friendly and helpful. While the breakfast was very popular among other guests, we did not partake since the cafes in the center have less expensive breakfast and we could dine outside in the quay. The hotel is not in the...

Well positioned hotel 3/4 minutes to the inner harbour. No restaurant but massive choice within a few minutes. English spoken in reception and gated parking available at 10 euros. This is a bonus as parking is "PAYANT" in the centre and hard to find at week ends. Conventional rooms with mini bar but no kettle. Room 302 to the front,...

This is an excellent hotel,5 minutes walk from the centre. The service was exceptional with a very willing and helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable with cotton linen and the bathroom was better than many high class hotels I have stayed in,in particular, the lighting. For its price this hotel is very good value and I have no hesitation in recommending...

Stayed here for one night in Apri. Have always found the Mercure chain a very reliable and good value place to stay in France and this was no exception. Hotel is located about five minutes walk from the centre, overlooking the river and outskirts of town. There is a secure gated car park at the back. Public areas are limited...

We stayed for four nights with our friends and none of us were able to fault the hotel. The staff were all very polite and nothing seemed to be any trouble for them. We had asked for quiet rooms at the back of the hotel on the top floor - these were very good, clean and quite spacious. We had...

I stayed here as part of a motorcycle trip around Normandy and everything worked from the minute I made the enquiry. Secure parking (if you know Honfleur you'll know this is difficult), easy check in, good sized rooms, good facilities (bath, shower etc.) and well located. OK, so it doesn't have any French character but if you just want somewhere...
