Helene has created the perfect B & B just a few miles from downtown Bayeux. The home is charming surrounded by streams and ponds. As we drove in horses were grazing in the grassy field along the driveway. The rooms were large. The kitchen-where our breakfast was served--was large and charming and the food was to die for. You will...

Hard to imagine there's a better B&B in Normandy, really! A perfect repurposing of an old French mill into a B&B. An absolutely lovely host, Helene. You can walk the immaculately kept grounds, feed the horses, sheep...a perfect setting for rest and relaxation after a full day touring Normandy. As a family of four, we stayed in the Red room...

This is a place to never forget! A charming owner, a wonderful room, a great breakfast, and all in a beautiful home setting, with horses, sheep, a stream,: magical! Don't hesitate to book. It was the perfect, close spot to drive to the Normandy beaches and Mont San Michel. We came back to our wonderful home each of the three...

An old mill that has been transformed by it's owners into guest lodging. Flowing streams you can hear from your room. Lush with flowers you can enjoy from your swing back chair. Breakfast is homemade yogurt and preserves, among croissants, etc. Horses in the fields......Our hostess very gracious. Hate to let this secret out.

We absolutely loved this place, probably our favorite spot during our vacation in France! Madame Fichot does a beautiful job hosting her amazing home - very welcoming, and super clean! The scenery at this location was breathtaking! Madame Fichot's breakfast was super cozy and SUPER delicious - we absolutely loved it! The only regret was that we were not able...

We stayed with Helene for 2 nights and couldn't have been more impressed. The property is a fully restored farmhouse and mill that is as beautiful to see as many of the sights we toured on our trip. The grounds are magnificent with gardens, rushing water, horses, sheep, and a very friendly dog. Breakfast was terrific and served in the...

Only a short easy drive from Bayeux, this stone home which was once a mill has been completely remodeled with large windows in the living room and kitchen which brings the beauty of the gardens, stream and sky into the space. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Madame personally offers a breakfast of breads, cereals, cheese and ham. All 5 homemade...

Our family of 4 stayed in the Blue Suite for 2 of the best nights of our entire 3 week vacation. We arrived here from the bustle of Paris, and it was even better than the glowing reviews. The building is beautiful, and situated on the most tranquil gardens that are truly stunning, with horses that my kids loved to...

This B&B is actually a few minutes drive from Bayeux, so you would need a car. That said, it is the perfect place to stay. The B&B is housed in a beautiful converted mill with a peaceful creek on the property. The gathering room is spacious and well-appointed, and there is a beverage station available 24 hours per day. Each...

Thank you very much for your review, it's not a smell of cigarets, only the odor of the larg chimney in my kitchen, because the temperatures are very hot outside

Helene is the perfect host and takes utmost pride in her beautiful, luxurious and peaceful B&B. Her attention to detail is highly commended. The bedroom we stayed in was stunning and the en-suite bathroom was also beautifully appointed, with both rooms spotless. Breakfast was superb and a real treat, with such variety and selection. The B&B is surrounded by tranquility:...
