Loved it here. This was our base hotel post visit of Mont Saint Michel and for our tour of the Normandy beaches. Parking is included behind the hotel and you have to drive slowly by the hotel to find the entrance. There is a Pizza Bus (food truck) across the street which was delicious and very reasonable which sold wine...

A last minute reservation in a deluxe room at this stylish hotel. Good location from port of Caen. The rooms are immaculately clean, modern and stylish. Towels, toiletries, robes, slippers, complimentary tea and coffee and water, extra touches that make the experience of staying here most enjoyable. Air conditioning in the room too. The staff were , without exception, helpful...

All very modern, but all rather dark and a little gloomy. Not a lot of atmosphere. Good car parking and pleasant staff. A little too far out of town for easy sightseeing. Breakfast ok but I wish French hotels would use fresh milk, not longlife

Great design, room and bathroom are both very good and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and nice. Location is good but not very ideal. Breakfast is fresh but limited options and the breakfast room is not big enough so you need perhaps to wake up a bit early.

Visiting Normandy for the first time, we stayed at the Ivan Vautier hotel in Caen. It turned out to be a wise decision to make a reservation for the amazing restaurant at the hotel. My sister ordered the recommendation of the chef which is a surprise for each course!! She "trusted the chef" and boy was she glad she did!!!...

We stayed here in June as we wanted to visit the Normandy beaches, dad was here in 1945 and we visited on fathers day. The hotel is easy to locate, has good secure parking and is within 15 mins walk of the town. We stayed for 2 days and requested a small quiet room. The room was small but also...

Ivan Vautier Hotel is on the edge of the city so you will need a car (free parking available). The location also makes it very quiet. Our room was very spacious and well designed aesthetically but not functionally (e.g., no towel racks other than the heated one which had robes hanging on it). The biggest disappointment was the very pedestrian...

This hotel was not centrally located. There was only one restaurant in the immediate area (The Villa Eugene - which was excellent). The room we had was a Junior Suite -- very large and lovely accommodation. The service in the restaurant in the hotel, which is a one star Michelin, was terrible. We sat for 30 minutes without getting any...

It is not located in the centre of town but since we had a car the location did not pose any problems for us. In fact, it was rather easy to reach all our destinations. The hotel is modern with very well executed decor and color scheme. The two rooms we stayed in were both, while not large, well organized,...

The hotel property itself is very nice. The rooms are large by rural French standards, so those who say otherwise probably are not familiar with the local standards. The rooms are also quite well appointed and in great condition. I did not have any concerns over "TLC" as a few other reviewers reported, and I have very high standards. The...
