Hotel Francois d'O is very charming. Located on an extremely narrow street in the old town. Was very convenient to the DDay tour I planned to take. About a 15 e taxi ride from the train through the more modern part of town. My room was small and faced the street. If choosing this hotel bring earplugs because if you...

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Speak English and take an extra step to make your stay as comfortable as you need. The room just has everything you would expect. Good bed, somewhat hard mattresses, but this is subjective. The breakfast is typically French but good. We stayed in room 12 on the third floor and could hear noises from...

Lovely, clean family run hotel in the heart of Caen. Friendly staff, beautiful building. Room small but clean. Bathroom hilariously small but clean. Good value for money. Close to monuments ( especially chateaux de Caen) & all the restaurants. Happy to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Caen.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street in walking distance of the town centre, some of the main sights (castle and gallery) and some decent restaurants. Our room was spacious with a huge bed. The building is a few hundred years old, and very well adapted to hotel use. It is comfortable and warm, with a traditional feel. Breakfasts...

A nice boarding house, managed by nice people. My place when I come to give a lecture in a local engineering school. In the middle of Caen historical district. Several good restaurants nearby. I chose the place because of the building style (I love old stones), but also because it's very close to a tramway station, which is a wonderful...

This is a quirky, hard to find hotel in Caen, quite near the city centre. It has a very old world feel, with small floors which seem tumble upon each other. We arrived late due to Euroshuttle delays but we phoned up and they left an entry code to get in. The rooms were compact, but comfortable. Breakfast was fairly...

We booked this hotel based on location, reviews, and price, and were very pleased! The manager was amazing - SO helpful with our many "special" requests. We had one room in the old hotel and one in an annex - the latter had a lovely courtyard in which we ate our breakfast, after having been directed by the manager to...

Fantastic location with on street parking which is free after 7pm at ngiht. Within 5 minute walk of Chateau/Castle and loads of restaurants and bars. Welcoming host who was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was basic but plently of food available - tea/coffee/juice, yoghurt, croissants etc Would definitely stay again due to superb location and service

Location couldn't be better, right next to William the Conquoror's castle and very close to good shops, bars and restaurants. Off street parking wasn't a problem for us. Hotel friendly, basic and clean. Free wifi. All ok but the tiniest bathroom I've even seen!
