The Hotel de Sainte Croix is just what we expected: A charming, well located B&B in Bayeux, a wonderful small city in the heart of Normandy. Although the hotel is an older structure, it is lovingly maintained by Florence, your host and innkeeper. Rooms are large and eclectically decorated with comfortable beds and have large, modern bathrooms. The inn is...

We were two couples traveling together, and booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at this charming hotel. The location is wonderful - just across from the market square. Florence was warm and welcoming, even though we arrived early. Our rooms were huge, with large bathrooms, and nicely appointed, comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was served in the beautiful dining room,...

Go hungry! Florence bakes the most fabulous delights, and your breakfast will leave you full all day. The rooms are large and clean and comfortable. The stairs may daunt some, but for us, it was a way to work off the charming Florence's magnificent breakfasts. Bayeux is the perfect location from which to tour the Normandy beaches, to see Mont...

We were very surprised at the huge size of the bedroom and bath and luxurious linens and china at breakfast. Florence was a lovely host who telephoned our guide to confirm he would pick us up at her hotel for our trip to the Normandy Beaches and also emailed out next location to let them know we would be late...

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, my husband and I booked four nights at the Hotel de Sainte Croix in September. When researching, we focus on comments about the host/hostess, the size of the rooms, and location (as we travel by public transportation). On all counts, this B&B lived up to its reputation. Florence agreed to our arriving early in the afternoon...

My husband, adult son, and I stayed at the Hotel De Sainte Croix on October 1-2, 2012. We had a lovely room with a big bed and a smaller bed in the same room, as well as a huge bathroom with shower/tub, and two sinks. The hotel was very well kept, spotlessly clean, and the beds and linens were very...

We stayed at Florence's B&B for 6 days from September 28 to October 4 and loved it. The reservation was easily done with E-mails without any of the cancellation warnings that many B&B's use. The parking in the area is not hard at all, the price is more than a bargain at 89 euro for 2 people with a terrific...

This was one of six hotels/B&B's that we stayed in while we traveled throughout France. It was the only one that we had a problem with. I knew it wasn't a good sign when Florence(I'm assuming that's who it was)had a surprised look on her face when I told her we were there to check in. Luckily I had a...

Just wanted to write a review as promised to Florence before I left her B&B...I hope she reads this. We stayed at Hotel de Sainte Croix between 19th Sept and 23rd Sept. This B&B is literally 'a home'. We felt comfortable and welcome from the very first moment we arrived here & the breakfasts were always abundant and delicious. They...

The proprietor, Florence, is a lovely, gracious, charming hostess. She always had a smile on her face and was most helpful in orienting us to our accommodations and the environs, calling restaurants for reservations, taxis, etc. She served a filling gourmet breakfast on Villeroy and Boch china, beautifully presented. The hotel (really a B & B) is in the center...
