We agree 100% with all of the positive comments of the previous posts. The location was great and hotel staff very friendly and accomodating. They spoke excellent English. Our standard double room was large, clean, and the bath was excellent. We took the train to Bayeux from Paris. The train ride is about 2 hours, and the taxi ride from...

We stayed in Bayeux for three nights in May, meeting friends from England for a visit to the Normandy beaches. The hotel's location on one of the main little streets of the city was perfect. The hotel has a small free parking lot in the back (a bit hard to find the first day), but it is open to the...

We couldn't say enough about how wonderful a stay we had for 4 days at the Churchill. The staff at the hotel immediately made you feel welcome and they were extremely helpful. Everyday they chatted with guests to see how their day and stay was going and you knew they were sincerely interested. We asked for local restaurant suggestions for...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Churchill in late May for 5 nights. It is outstanding. The owners and staff are obviously dedicated to giving their guests a great and personal experience. Rima in particular went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and filling each morning before...

My husband and I did months and months of research looking for the perfect small hotel to stay in Bayeux, France. We chose the Hotel Churchill for the convenience and the size. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had made the right decision. The reception was warm and informative, the breakfast "oh so french", the...

We recently spent a night at the Hotel Churchill on personal travel. Tucked away on a street filled with boutique retail stores and restaurants, conveniently proximate to the Bayeux Tapestry, access to the hotel occurs by means of what looks like a garden path, which was a good start. While our room was of necessity one of the higher-priced rooms,...

We spent 2 nights in Bayeux. Our bathroom had obviously been recently remodeled and it was very nice. The room was also nice and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed meeting a lot of Americans there that had come mainly for the D-Day tours. the owners and staff at the hotel made sure we had everything we needed including...

Rima "Boss", Daniel, Emilie, and Patricia, These are the fine folks that make the place what it is. They are friendly and help in any way they can. Our room was clean and taken care of every day. If you can, get the family room it is large, comfortable, (I slept like a rock) and we had our own garden...

Everyone was so warm, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well decorated. We enjoyed every one and everything. My only wish for improvement was that the bathroom was not completely private since it was on the first floor and there was a gathering right outside the window which was frosted with no curtain. But we were treated...

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Churchill. I booked 4 nights but had to leave early the last evening to get back to Paris. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Bayeux and the Normandy area. The room was nice and very well kept. Breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly and spoke excellent English...
