We recently stayed at the Hotel Churchill in Bayeux, France. Our room was very spacious, clean, great bathroom. The staff was EXCELLENT, accommodating, and friendly. Wonderful location in the center of town. Very reasonable price for this hotel!

We went on Rick Steve's advice on this one and were not impressed. We found the Hotel Churchill to be over-priced and very noisy--- when in our room we could hear all the other guests when they were downstairs or in the hallways. There wasn't even a drinking glass for water in our room. Although the hotel's ambiance (tons of...

Ditto all the great comments about the Churchill. This is a lovely and charming hotel and excellent in every way. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. Lovely breakfast room, efficient, helpful and very friendly staff, great location in center of Bayeux and our room on the top floor was so very charming. The shuttle to Mont St. Michel was...

Although we only stayed here one night, we were very happy with the facilities and the staff. They were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Very close to so many things - right downtown.

Every aspect of this thoroughly charming and attentive hotel made our first visit to Bayeux an extraordinary experience, one that we hope to repeat at the Churchill sooner rather than later. Its location, setting, decor, and atmosphere perfectly reflect the ambience of Bayeux; I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to stay....anywhere.

We stayed at the Hotel Churchill before embarking on our Oceania cruise. I need to state up front that I am in the travel industry however I am not a travel agent so I am always quick to critique properties that I visit. The location is central to everything, just steps away from the Bayeux Tapestry and within a very...

We wanted 3 nights in Bayeux. A week in advance we contacted the Churchill. They had accommodation for only the first night but would wait list us in case of any cancellation. It was only when we checked in that the reception put us on any wait list. They didn't advise us to try and find other accommodation, so we...

In August of 2011, Fiancee and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The staffs were superb and fluent in English. The hotel is situated at a central location of Bayeux. We literally walked to every site in Bayeux from our hotel; tapestry, cathedral, meadow and it's wheel, normandy museum, British cemetery...etc We had no problem with the hotel...

We arrived in Bayeau, France in late afternoon and were warmly greeted by the hotel. They advised us as to a local restaurant that could accomodate us for a light meal. Our room was very clean and although small, very adequate. The breakfasts were served with a smile every morning and very good selection. They were very accomodating with suggestions...

We loved Hotel Churchill. It is located in the heart of Bayeux, a quick walk to the tapestry, cathedral, and almost everything in the main part of town. It has a lovely breakfast room that you can hang out in any time, and a courtyard where we ate picnic lunches bought at the town market. Rooms are very nice. Daniel,...
