This hotels location is great for those coming from the train station. The owners were some of the nicest people I have ever met. The staff go out of there way to make sure all guests are taken care of. The rooms are nicely decorated, spacious and clean. My bed was huge, very comfortable with lots of pillows were you...

Family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Vimy monument and doing a CDN. battlefield tour. We had 3 rooms between us and each one was unique. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. The breakfast spread laid out on a huge dining table was amazing! We could choose from a variety of fresh rolls, breads, homemade jams, cheeses,...

Our hosts were helpful throughout our stay. We arrived v jet lagged and they helped us with booking a popular restaurant down the road. The rooms were v clean. We had the TOP floor room with double room and it was bigger than many rooms we have stayed in around France. The breakfast at the communal table allowed us to...

Warm welcome from Elen, Christophe and Anisa. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable, great room darkening shades and fabulous shower. Breakfast was yummy! It was nice to sit and get to know other travellers. Location is perfect - came on the train and walked to everything in town.

I rarely give a "less than favourable" review but Le Castel was a big disappointment. The positives: - the proximity to the WW2 memorials & museums is really good, but you need a car. - it's within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the Tapestry, etc. - the breakfasts are very good & the coffee is excellent. - Anissa is wonderful...

The hosts were personable and helpful. The room was not as big as I had hoped and storage was limited but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as you could get in any fine hotel in Europe. It was a good stay and a good value.

I can't rate Le Castel and the hosts highly enough. The accommodation itself was relaxing and extremely homely, definitely had the feel of a guest house and not an average hotel which was absolutely perfect for me as I was doing a solo side-trip to Bayeux. The hosts were great, I cannot thank Cristophe and his wife enough, they went...

Stayed one night here. The old house is quaint, but we got put out in a "tin can" hanging off the back of the house on the 2nd floor. It has short high windows, automated shutters.. totally out of character for the rest of the house. But the bathroom was roomy, we had a fridge... breakfast in the am was...

Great little place to stay! Very warm and welcoming! Room was a little small which is normal in Europe. Bathroom was huge with a nice shower. Breakfast was great. Within walking distance to town. We enjoyed our first night in France at a very nice place.

A very friendly, helpful couple run this charming B&B. There is convenient parking right on the property for a nominal, reasonable fee (5 euro/night). Breakfast is served around a large dining room table with a very nice selection of a typical continental breakfast. Bathrooms are clean and have more than decent hardware. This is not a luxury boutique hotel. It...
