Stayed here for 2 days on a business trip, the best hotel I have stayed in in Lille. The room had everything I needed, including a bath and wifi. I would definitely recommend this hotel and intend staying here on my next trip to Lille. Tip: bring your own kettle if you like tea :-) I would say it was... More

An easy walk from Eurostar and perfect for sightseeing in Lille as nicely central. Very friendly helpful staff. One strange thing - I could not get a bottle of wine in the bar after an evening out, they had run out! So the following evening I drank with my meal, before the walk back, which I do not think is... My wife and I selected the hotel for a 3-day city break. It is a smallish establishment in a pedestrian precinct, about 10-15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station where we arrived. (We were going to take a taxi, but the driver advised us it would be better to walk!) Our room was surprisingly large and had everything we needed.... More

This hotel is a very short walk from the Lille Flandres railway station, while at the same time being nestled in the city. It is close to the center of town, an easy walk to the old town, basically very convenient. Service was uniformly courteous and friendly. The room was clean, pleasant, and quiet. The bathroom particularly clean. If there... More

We stayed at the Hotel de la Paix recently and would recommend it for the location - right in the centre of Lille with both the old and new parts of the town very easily walkable and 15 minutes or so walk from the Eurostar terminal. Although it was so central, the rooms were quiet and cosy - not large... More

The staff at this hotel are all very friendly and helpful (English is spoken, but they ask you which language you would prefer, so you can also take the opportunity to practice your French.). The location - just over ten minutes' walk from the Eurostar station and five from the Grand Place - is perfect. The common areas and landings... More

I saw a post about cigarette smell in this hotel on a website after making my reservation. So I sent an email and asked to confirm I would get a non-smoking, non smelling room. The reception confirmed, but it turned out to be inexact. My room was indeed smelling the cigarette, not that much, but enough for me to suffer... More

The location of the hotel was excellent; about 10-15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station and perfectly placed for the centre. Our room was facing the road and there was some noise but nothing too bad to keep us awake even with the window slightly open. The shower was most efficient and clean. Having read in another review about mosquitos,... More

We wanted a more traditional French hotel, rather than the modern, and that's what we got. Our room was comfortable, although my girlfriend felt that the bed was uncomfortable. Desk staff helpful and spoke good English. Recommended a lovely restaurant "Le Compostelle", which was quite a feat since many close in Lille on a Sunday night. Cannot agree with previous... More
