We have just spent the last four days in the delightful and historic town of Uzes -- which we would highly recommend as a crossroads for excellent eating, drinking, sightseeing, and basically enjoying life. In and around Uzes, there are multiple options for accommodations, ranging in price and quality. Among the many B&Bs in the area, we would draw your...

For our third visit to Uzes we decided to stay in the village / town rather than a few kms out as in previous years. We chose La Maison Rouge after viewing their website and the very positive feedback from previous guests. What a great decision that was. We had a wonderful 7 days with Phillipe & Annick who gave...

Down a small lane way, close to parking and 2 minutes walk from everything in Uzes is this wonderful B and B. We had apt 83 and it was fantastic to have the extra space to put our large suitcases. Modern bathroom with huge open shower, no a/c, but with the shutters closed against the afternoon sun and the silent...

We were warmly greeted by the owners Philippe and Annick in their charming house, and we felt very comfortable from the minute we stepped in. The rooms are spacious and have a lot of character, and the bathrooms are very contemporary. Breakfast is perfect and generous (they even squeeze fresh oranges for you), and enjoying it in their lovely garden...

I cannot imagine staying in a more wonderful place. The house, garden, room, bathroom, breakfast, owners... all were utterly lovely. The house itself is very convenient for the town (just on the edge and about a 5 min max walk to the centre) and also for the lovely park, communal pool and river. Thank you Anike and Philippe, we look...

An example of everything being as it should be. The Maison Rouges is how to run a hotel and this is why: You will want to park and leave your car, as you can walk everywhere; car-park located 200 metres from hotel. (advice is to park first in the Parking des Maronniers [which is free] and walk across the road...

I stayed three nights. I was thoroughly pleased. Philippe the owner went out of his way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. His restaurant and shop choices were very good and he introduced me to great local folks who really knew their town well. Garden was beautiful and the setting with the pool in the center of town is...

Very nice place in the centre of Uzes. Restaurants are within walking distance. The room was very nice and clean. There is a cosy garden with pool and terras. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice (cheese, eggs, jam, different kinds of bread...). The hosts are very friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome! Would recommend...

Up a narrow little street just a minute away from the buzz of Uzes, lies La Maison Rouge d'Uzes. Behind a discrete wooden door is a gorgeous old 'maison bourgeois.' Beautifully renovated with quirky design features, the house is a delight. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a great bath room boasting both a bath and separate shower. There is...

A wonderful find! The hosts are delightful, the rooms clean, bright, updated, and the coffee served with breakfast was the perfect way to start a day. We loved the courtyard where we ate our breakfast and gathered to chat with other guests, and the pool was a perfect way to end a tired day. I highly recommend La Maison Rouge,...
