Great location and a very warm and helpful welcome. We arrived after cycling all day in rain and the receptionist was brilliant in helping us settle in and dry out. Very clean room, good breakfast and an excellent location for access to the old city. Hidden away in a tiny street near the Cathedral but worth seeking out.

We are very satisfied of this hotel. It's a very nice place to stay in Montpellier. Located in the historic quarter of Montpellier. Easy access 10mn to the conference hall Le Corum and 15mn from the station. Rooms are very nice, well decorated, clean and calm. The receptionist at the lobby is really gentle and helpful to help you to...

From booking to checkout, our experience with Le Guilhem was fantastic! The staff is helpful and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. They do a great job of equipping the rooms with little conveniences (things we found lacking in our subsequent, very expensive hotel in Paris). You have the usual soap, shampoo, fixed hairdryer...

After a friendly reception, I was lucky enough to be upgraded from a comfort room to a mini suite. The receptionist showed me to the room personally. All very comfortable. Fantastic location for walking around the old city. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but I was disappointed that I couldn't get in to La Symphonie, as I wanted to follow Gabriella's...

We stayed in this hotel from 9th to 13th August, our first time in Montpelier. The room was spotlessly clean and refreshed each day to the same high standard. All the staff (at reception, at breakfast as well as those involved in cleaning the room) were friendly, helpful and professional. We hope to return to Montpellier and we definitely will...

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past 3 months for business. I have to say that I'm surprised Le Guilhem is ranked no. 4 for business - the internet connection is very intermittent and does not have a strong signal, so it's impossible to use skype or download files. The staff is pretty nice for the most...

it's the first time we've been put in such a narrow room, with a narrow bathtub (perhaps suitable for an anorexic) and a toilet that is less than 12 inches from the door (standing required to open or close the door); the view is of course what would have saved this room had the window been a bit larger. there...

This hotel is fine - clean and tidy smallish rooms with old fashioned decor looking over a lovely garden. We were however very disappointed to be misled by the hotel staff (who up to this point had been very helpful) about the parking. They ended up sending us to and fro from the local car park, telling us to pay...

I really liked this hotel, the room had such character with lovely furniture and great monkey fabric curtains and bedspread - only the French could make monkey fabric chic! The bathroom was a good size, all white and very clean. I received a lovely warm welcome from the man at reception who was very patient with my terrible french -...

A charming hotel. The location is not that great (a bit on the edge of old town) but still in a in a nice part of town. The fact that it is not in the right in the middle of old town is a plus if you are driving. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was big...
