It's hard not to sound like I'm gushing describing this beautiful BnB just 10-15 minutes walk from the walled city. It felt like we were staying in a French chatuea! Lovely large bedroom just off the dining room and living room. The bath was very welcome after a chilly walk round the city. Big gardens out the back with plenty...

We stayed one night at Demeure St Louis on our way from Barcelona to the Dordogne, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The house is beautifully decorated, extremely well-located (about 10 minute walk to the medieval city), and free parking inside the gate. We stayed in the "cote de jardin" room, which was super clean, comfy bed,...

We were greeted and collected by the owner Bernard at the train station and taken to our little hidden gem, just off the main road to narbonne. The peaceful room we stayed in was le jardin, huge and extremely clean and well decorated, perfect nights sleep with shutters to block out the daylight and opened up in the morning to...

Great accommodations. Great Location. Bernard is friendly and helpful. The place is spotless. I loved the patio and the the location. We walked to the old city, canal du midi and the Cité. Our room was Le Jardin. Ground floor looking onto the back yard, huge French chateau windows.

From the outside this B&B doesn't look like much. But once inside it's walls, it's a completely different story. First of all, the gardens are lovely, and on a sunny day are so relaxing to sit in. And once inside the rooms are great; roomy with some fantastic antique furniture. We both enjoyed the deep roll-top bath after walking round...

We stayed in the Les Chaumes suite for two nights in May. What a lovely room, with a view overlooking the beautiful garden and koi pond from one window and the rooftops and castle from the other. It is beautifully decorated with antiques, a very comfortable bed and first class, modern fixtures and amenities. Bernard could not have been more...

We didn't know that places this good existed - "Chambre d'Hote" just doesn't do it justice. Have a look at the photos of the rooms on the Deneure Saint Louis website and then believe that they're three times as good as they look. No expense has been spared to make your stay an experience to remember. We stayed in the...

The highlight of this one is a tie between the infectious enthusiasm of Bernard, the comfortable refurbished old house and the nearby Cite. Our lack of French didn't seem to affect the communication at all a-- no credit to us of course -- and we got regular interest and suggestions of what to do and visit in our three nights...

We stayed here in early April, just pre season. What a wonderful welcome from Bernard. This is a real find, so close to Le Cite, you can see it from the windows. We stayed in fabulous, bright room with wonderful bedlinen and bathroom. Everything spotless but so stylish. This is renovated house and the care that went into the renovation...

Very beautiful and (very French) stylish house, recently renovated with good taste. Also a warm welcome of the owner, he came to pick us up and back to the local airport. Great!!! The house located at the foot of the medieval city of Carcasonne between the old City and to the town. Both reach in only 7 min. walk.
