Warm welcome, comfortable room delightfully decorated and furnished, and a delicious breakfast which included a great variety of home-made conserves.

Just returned from here. Stayed for 2 nights. Room was very attractive and creatively decorated. The main house was fabulous loads of art and books. So close to the medieval city (5 mins walk). Maryline and Jean Jacques were very welcoming and gave us some great tips on where to eat and visit. Many reasonably priced restaurants and bars. The...

We spent three nights at Cote Cite at the start of a two week trip across southern France. We were a half hour late in arriving after driving from the airport and getting lost in Carcassonne in our jet lagged state, but Maryline put us immediately at ease, gave us a glass of wine and showered us with information on...

My husband and I booked the Fairies Room, on the Cote Cite website, for a three night stay in May via their website. Upon arrival we relocated to the room behind the Fairies room, for an extra 6 Euros per night, because the Fairies room offered NO PRIVACY or SECURITY and would have been very noisy because the windows fronted...

We stayed here early september 2008 - it is a place with plenty of charm , but really needs some loving care on it. The positives are that it is in a great location, has parking , loads of character and a great breakfast. However , our room , Carpe Diem ,was very dark , with shuttered windows that opened...

Don't let the front of B&B deter you from staying in this wonderful B&B. Situated 200m outside the city walls the B&B offers off the street parking. A warm welcome from Jean-Jacques was received upon our arrival. A glass of wine was served in Cote Cite's lovely courtyard whilst he explained in french what to see and do in magnificent...

We stayed at the Cote Cite for 3 night in September 2007 and can unreservedly recommend it. On arrival we were met by the owner Jean-Jacques Vinamont and his dog Freya. As well as accomodating our early arrival we were given refreshments, maps, directions, and plentiful recommendations on where to eat for all pockets and tastes. Our departure was just...

We spent only one night in Carcassonne in April '06 (not nearly enough time). We stayed at La Cote Cite, a charming bed and breakfast hosted by Jean-Jacques Vinamont and his lovely wife, Maryline. We aren't normally the B&B type as the kids prefer a place with a pool but this visit was a higlight of our trip. The hosts...
