Stayed here for one night, was met by a very friendly and helpful staff. The room was rather small, but nice, with a lovely bathroom. Good beds, extra pillows. A little disappointed about the breakfast, as it was served by the table, and this took quite some time. But the food itself was good. Can recommend the spa as well

Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Beautiful view of medieval walls and well landscaped gardens. Room was small but charming and clean, with excellent bathroom. Lovely pool and staff will deliver cocktails to the pool. Simple but tasty breakfast of top quality local produce. No restaurant but you don't need one because its a very...

Our family of five visited the historic city of Carcassonne and stayed at this conveniently located hotel just outside the walls of this amazing site. Hotel du Chateau's staff were friendly and helped us book a table at Le Parc restaurant on the evening of our visit.

lovely hotel with comfortable beds and excellent shower. In an excellent position just outside the walls of the medieval city. Swimming pool was a lovely temperature, nice to have somewhere to sunbathe after sight seeing. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, only 2 cereals on offer, cornflakes or chocopix. No fruit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in an excellent position with secure parking. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were helpful and mostly multi-lingual. There is however no restaurant. Also the cleaning was not of sufficient standard for the cost of the room. The owners need to reconsider their maintenance and cleaning routines.

Regretably, we stayed here only one night while on a tour of Southern France. It is a really elegant contemporary modern hotel on a hill overlooking the valley next to the old city of Carcassone. You literally walk across the street from the hotel to the steps up to the amazingly restored old city. The hotel staff members are professional...

This was a beautiful hotel. Clean, lovely, well-decorated and right out the door, past the courtyard was the path to the ancient Castle, basically next door. We had a room for 3 - my husband, grown son and I and we were all very, very happy.

Very helpful staff, wonderful location 100 meters from the old city. Hotel has no restaurant or gym, but as plenty of restaurants and running tracks in vicinity this isn't an issue

One of the best hotel i had during my french trip. Nothing bad to say about it. Rooms are quite comfortable, enough space for both of us, nice furnitures. Clean and fresh sheets. There is a nice pool (heated) and jacuzy. The restaurant has an awesome view on the casttle. I would recommend it over every other hotel in Carcassonne.

We stopped at The Hotel du Chateau during an unexpected night in Carcassonne. First of all, the location cannot be beat. We did not want to stay inside the medevil city, so being located right at the gates was perfect for us. The garden greets you when you enter, along with two very friendly well fed dogs. The staff were...
